i need to get this out of my chest even if i embarrass myself in the process... i was listening some spotify playlists and then your song “it’ll be okay” started playing and like it touched me--- like it talks about loving someone so much that you let them go, right? and sadly enough i can relate to that “i will love you either way” way more than i’d like to. @shwnmndcs
“Babe, you gotta go faster or we’re gonna be late.” You say looking over, checking the time.
“We’re all good.” He rests a hand on your thigh, giving it a light squeeze.
“Shawn.”
“Babe, we’re good.” He says again, looking over at you.
“But the-”
“Shh.” He says turning the radio up.
You look over at him annoyed, you were gonna miss your flight if he didn’t speed up a little. You look out the window, arms crossed, pout sitting nicely on your lips.
“Baby.” He says, thumb tapping against your thigh. “We’re okay, I promise.”
“I just don’t wanna miss the flight.”
“We’re not gonna miss it.”
“But we are.” You protest, pointing to the clock on the dash.
“No we aren’t.”
You roll your eyes and look away.
“Stop, we’re okay.” He says trying to grab your hand, which he does unsuccessfully since you won’t let him.
“Stop.”
“Babe.” He says trying to grab it again.
“Shawn, stop.”
“I’ll stop when you hold my hand.” He says, you huff and set your hand in his. “There you go.” He says braiding your fingers together.
“Whatever.”
**
“Shawn we board in 10 minutes.” You groan as you stare at the mile long security line. He’s being extra slow checking in bags, and you’re not actually at the counter yet.
“We’ll make it.” He shakes his head. “They’ll wait for us Baby.”
“How? Tell me how?”
“Shh.” He says capturing your lips with his. “Stop stressing, I got it.” He says, forehead rested on yours.
“Fine.” You sigh.
He cracks a smile, kissing you again.
“You should trust me, I only fly like 364 days a year.” He grins.
“And that one day you don’t fly?” You crane your neck to look up at him, since he’s got you pushed up against him, hand low on your back.
“Gotta sleep at some point.” He shrugs.
You pat his chest and shuffle forward with the line.
“We’re gonna make it.” He says staring casually at the security line.
“No Shawn, we aren’t.”
“The team wouldn’t leave without us.”
You laugh, not stressed anymore because it’s his fault. Shawn looks down at you and smirks, his plan falling into place perfectly.
Watching the board, you see that there your flight switches to ‘boarding’ to ‘take off’.
“Andrew is gonna kill me.”
“Remember to tell him that I tried to tell you.” You mutter stepping out of line so the people behind you can step forward.
“What?”
“What?” You ask looking up at him.
“What did you say?”
“Nothing.”
“It wasn’t nothing, why would you remind me to tell Andrew that?”
“So they don’t think it was my fault.” You shrug. His eyes go wide, and he stops walking causing you to stop.
“Why would they think it’s your fault?”
“How often have you missed flights when I’m not on tour?”
He shrugs, not coming up with an answer.
“And now how many have you missed while I’ve been on tour?”
“It’s not your fault.” He says shaking his head, seeing where you were going with what you were saying.
“I know that, but they don’t.”
“They won’t think that.” He’s confident in his team.
“Okay Shawn.” You roll your eyes, letting go of his hand so you can continue walking.
“Babe.” He says grabbing your hand, pulling you back. “What are you trying to say here?”
“I’m saying that it’s not gonna be the first time I’ll be blamed for you being late.”
“Excuse me?”
“Nothing, don’t worry about it.”
“Um no, I’m gonna worry about it. Tell me what you know.”
“I know that the day you were late for Q&A, because you were talking to Liyah on the phone, Cez was talking to another guy on the team and they thought that I was the reason you were late.”
His eyes go wide. “What did he say?”
“It doesn’t matter.”
“Tell me what he said.”
“Just that you seem extra distracted when I’m around, you can’t even make it to work on time. Too preoccupied with unneeded distractions.” You look at your shoes, shrugging to make it seem like it’s not a big deal but the reality of the matter leaves you feeling pretty hurt.
His face falls, heart drops, anger spiking. “That’s bullshit.”
“It’s okay.”
“No it’s not.”
“They aren’t wrong.”
“Yes they are.” He says, eyes zeroing in on you. “You are not a distraction, I was on the phone. You weren’t even in the room, you were waiting behind the curtain at Q&A. It is not okay that they said that.” He says running his hand through his curls.
You both stand there for a second in silence. But then like something clicks in his head. He leans back, head moving back. His eyes are wide, and he’s trying to form words.
“Is? Is that, Babe-” He says shaking his head. “Is that why I feel like I haven’t seen you much since you’ve joined?”
“What no? You’re just busy.” You try to lie, trick him through it.
His eyebrows come together, and his mouth moves like he’s doing math.
“I talked to Liyah last Saturday. That was-,” He thinks back, eyes rolling to look up. “Yes it is! You have been like avoiding me since then. I was off, and you like weren’t.”
He sees your face fall so he knows he’s right.
“Babe.” He pulls you closer. You let out a sigh, forehead resting against his chest. His fingers comb through your hair and he holds you close. “You are not a distraction.” He whispers into your ear.
“Stop.”
“No, you listen to me.” He says, fingers threaded through your hair pulling it away from your ears. “My team is the dumbest team ever. You are not a distraction. You are my girl.” He says making your eyes sting with tears.
He kisses the side of your head.
“You are not a distraction, you are my girl. And my girl will come first when she needs to come first. And I love that you do whatever you can to make sure that you don’t interfere with my work, but I don’t want you to worry about that.”
“Then what do you want?” You ask looking up.
He smiles and wipes the tear from under your eye, inspecting his thumb for a second afterwards.
“I want you to trust me.” He whispers locking eyes with you. You look down, not believing him.
“Look at me.” He says lifting your chin so you have to look at him. “Trust me.” He pleads. “I know what I need to do when I need to do it, and when I don’t I’ll make sure you know that.”
“That doesn’t make sense.”
“I know that I would much rather sit and cuddle with you instead of going to Q&A, but I know that Q&A’s are apart of my job. So, I go to Q&A and then I make sure that I dedicate my night after the show to you. I know that it’s okay to tell the team that I’m off for the night, that they can go party. That in the end I know that I’m gonna have the better night because you’re gonna be wrapped around me.”
You stare at him and listen, soaking in everything he has to say.
“You would think my favorite thing to say is, ‘I’m Shawn Mendes, Island recording artist and a real like rockstar’.” He says, eyebrows coming together, eyes focused. You stare at him confused. “You would think that would be my favorite thing to say.” He says shrugging. “But it’s not.”
“What is?” You whisper, on the edge of your seat.
“I’m Shawn Mendes.” He smiles really wide. “And I’m dating Y/n L/n, the most beautiful girl in the world. She’s the love of my life.”
You blush and lean up to kiss him. He hesitates for a second before his lips touch yours.
“You’re not a distraction.” He wants to say it so many times that it’s embedded into your skin. Tattoo’d into your heart so you can never forget it.
“Okay.”
“You’re not a distraction.”
“Okay.” You say harshly. Shawn smirks, cupping your cheek.
“You’re my girl.”
“I know.”
“And you’re not a distraction.”
“I know.”
He smiles really wide, pulls you closer, lips moving in rhythm against yours.
“Most importantly, you’re my girl.” He whispers pulling back.
“All of this over a missed flight.” You grin, looking up at him.
He hangs his head, laughing.
“I should have listened to you, you were right about the flight.”
“I know.” You smile. He shakes his head as his phone starts going off. He looks down and sighs.
“Andrew.” He says answering the call. “Hey.” He smiles at you.
You wait and watch as he nods and does his “mmhmm”’s, lip between his teeth. You reach up and touch his bottom lip. He untraps it from his teeth and watches your face as you swipe your thumb across his lip.
“It was my fault.” He says softly, staring at you. “She told me we were gonna be late.” He continues staring at you. “Wanted to enjoy my time with her.” His eyes sparkle as he looks at you. “Because she was there, and no one else was and I wanted to enjoy that. So I purposefully drove slow. I let myself enjoy the feeling of her holding my hand. I let off the gas so I could extend my time with her. Because I knew that if we missed this flight then we would have to stay the night and fly out tomorrow, which is why I bought tickets for tomorrow’s flight last night.” He grins looking at you.
Your eyes go wide as winks. You hit his chest causing him to laugh.
He holds his phone away from his ear.
“He’s so mad.” Shawn laughs putting the phone back to his ear. “I know, it’s my fault. I wanted to be selfish and have five more minutes with,” He cups your face as he says, “My girl.”
What a handsome boy and what a beautiful performance!! I’m so proud of everything he accomplished this year and I can’t wait to see what 2018 has to offer((:

Shawn is sitting on the little couch by the window of the bus. His guitar is on his lap, as he’s relaxed back. He’s picking an unfamiliar tune, eyebrows furrowed until he looks up and out the window.
He smiles at the nature, at the rows of flowers they pass.
He looks over and over at his girl, watching her for a minute.
She’s so effortlessly beautiful.
She’s got her slightly curled hair hanging naturally. Her face is clear of make up, traveling the world leaving her with no need to dress up. She’s in a flowy white shirt, but it hugs her in the right places. Book in her hand, eyes dancing on the page, lip trapped between her teeth as she twirls a strand of her hair around her finger.
He looks back out the window, and then back to her.
He stands and walks to the driver, asking if they could just stop for a second.
‘A quick second, please?’
The bus is slowing down, softly making it’s way the the side of the road. She looks up, finding Shawn walking back into the room.
“Are we stopping?”
“For a quick second.” He says slipping his shoes on, holding hers out for her.
“What are we doing?”
“You’ll see.” He smiles, handing her her shoes.
She slips them on, watching Shawn curiously as he waits with a giddy smile.
He opens the door for her, following her off the bus, into the field of pink flowers.
“Wow, it’s so pretty.” She says walking through a row of flowers, letting her fingertips touch the petals.
“You look so gorgeous.” He breathes out, watching her as she walks through the row.
She turns and looks at him over her shoulder, smile on her lips, blush on her cheeks.
“Is this what you had in mind Mendes?”
“Actually wanted to take a picture of you.” He says digging his phone out of his pocket.
“A picture?”
“Wanted to savor the moment, who knows when I’ll ever get the chance to take a picture of you in a wild flower field.”
She giggles, rolling her eyes at him.
“Come on now.” He says getting his camera ready.
@/shawnmendes: I’ll pick every flower, in every field, for You. <3
**
He had morning interviews, after going to the gym of course. So he was up way too early for her liking, which meant she decided to stay on the bus and take her time waking up and getting ready for the day.
She had just gotten out of the shower, hair dried and dressed in casual comfy clothes.
She was sipping her coffee, reading up on the news when her boyfriend busted through the door of the bus.
“Babe!” He says pointing at her, out of breath, chest rising and falling quickly.
“Yes?”
“I found the cutest little book shop! Come on lets go!” He says grabbing her hand and pulling her up to a standing position.
“But you have to meet Andrew and then Geoff with the team to write.”
“They can wait.” He says pulling her out of the bus.
“Shawn, you have to work.”
“I always have to work, it’s not everyday that we get to walk to a little book shop and buy you books.”
“We’re buying me books?”
“As many as you want.” He grins cheekily, kissing her cheek.
She was more intrigued now, but if he thought that she was gonna let him buy her a shit ton of books he was mistaken.
“Look how cute.” He says pulling her inside the store. “It reminded me of you.” He says looking around as they walk in.
He was right, it was cute. A cute hole in the wall book shop that was filled to the brim with books of kinds.
“Look Babe they have books on guitars.” She says pointing to the music section.
He smiles, looking at her, eyes telling her he very badly wants to go over there.
“Go!” She laughs, pushing him into the aisle.
As he wanders around, picking at books, she does the same.
When he finds her twenty minutes later, she’s got a small stack in her hands, fingers pulling another paperback from the shelf she stood in front of.
“Hey.” He whispers, taking the stack from her hands, adding his own books to the pile.
“Hey.” She whispers back, lovely smile running across her lips.
He can’t help himself, he leans in and kisses her quickly.
“What did you find?” He asks looking at the books in his hands, balancing the pile of eight books in one hand so he can look at the backs of the books with the other.
“I’m not gonna get them all, I’m just gonna collect all the ones I want and then choose like maybe three.” She says shrugging, looking back at the shelf.
“What? Why?” He looks up with confused eyes.
“I don’t want to spend all my money on books Shawn.” She laughs and shakes her head.
“But who said you were buying?” He asks, looking back at the stack of books.
“You are not buying me all of those books.” She says looking at him with a hard glare.
“Yeah I am.” He nods.
“No Shawn, you don’t have too. I don’t expect you to pay for me.”
He smiles, eyes crinkling. “I know, it’s one of the things I love most about you. But I’m buying you all of these books. I gotta spoil you a little here and there.”
“You spoil me all the time.”
“In hugs and kisses.” He rolls his eyes.
“That’s all I need.” She shrugs.
“And books. All you need are hugs, kisses and books. So let me spoil you with the third one.”
“Shawn.”
“Oh too late, I’m already holding all of these books.” He says plucking the one from her fingers and setting it in the pile.
She smiles at him as he walks to the counter.
**
The team was on their way to the arena.
Walking from the bus to the arena he notices a small little coffee shop advertising throat coat tea.
“Let’s get some tea.” He says grabbing his girls hand and pulling her into the shop.
The team follows, being responsible for Shawn at the moment.
They all get in line, reading the menu board, discussing the options. She looks up at Shawn when the music changes. He looks down, face mirroring hers.
They are both sporting big goofy smiles, giggling at the other, faces turning red quickly.
“It’s our song.” She mumbles, holding Shawn’s arm.
“I know.” He grins, kissing the top of her head.
He looks around, counting four other people in the shop that isn’t his team. He notices an open spot in the room by the tables.
He looks back down at her and smiles grabbing her hand.
“What are you doing?” She asks as Shawn pulls her to the open spot.
He takes both of her hands and moves them up and around his neck, his hands resting on the small of her back.
“Are you seriously dancing with me right now?” She giggles as he starts to sway them back and forth.
“It’s our song.” He shrugs, smile growing when he sees the love in her eyes.
The team watches, not really understanding what is happening with the young couple, but also enjoying the love that is being shown to everyone and to each other.
“I love you.” He whispers, pulling her closer to his chest.
“I love you too.” She whispers back, wrapping her arms tighter around him.
They both dance to the song, holding the other close as if they might disappear if they don’t.
When the song finishes and they return to line with the team the small audience they had claps, smiling brightly at the couple.
“Um,” The older woman behind the counter says. “What can I get you?”
“I’ll take your throat coat,” Shawn orders turning to his girl. “What do you want Baby?”
“Peppermint mocha.” She answers with a smile.
“Coming right up.”
“How much?” Shawn asks as she starts to move around behind the counter.
“It’s on the house dear, it’s on your love.” She smiles, making them both look at each other blushing.
@/hertagname: When he stops time just to dance with you. #oursongcameon

The adrenaline they feel after a show can never be explained.
But it keeps them all up for hours.
“Where are we?” She asks looking up from her phone, making all the boys on the bus look at her.
“Um, we’re in Connecticut.” Shawn responds nodding. “Why?”
“Just wondering.”
“What was with the little smile when I said Connecticut?” He asks, scooting closer to her.
“It’s just, my parents met at a diner in Connecticut.” She shrugs, looking out the window.
“What diner?”
“Collin’s Diner.” She says chewing at her lip, watching as Shawn types into his phone.
“It’s like five minutes from here.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, let’s go.” He says sitting up and going to tell the bus driver.
“No Shawn we don’t have to.” She says following him.
“I wanna go.” He whispers when the both of them are by yourselves by the bunks. “I wanna take you.” He says staring into her eyes.
“I love you Shawn Mendes.”
“I love you more.” He grins, leaning down and kissing her softly.
“We’re here!” The boys call from the front, shuffling off the bus and into the small diner.
“Wow.” She says walking, looking around. “It matches their description so well.” She smiles at Shawn.
“Tell me the story, how did they meet?” He says taking her hand.
“Okay well, they said that my dad was sitting in the back booth.” She says pointing to the back booth.
Shawn let’s go, rushing to the booth.
“Which side?” He asks looking at her.
“Um the side against the wall.” He nods, sliding into the booth, facing her now. She smiles at him, wondering to the counter. “My mom sat here, on the third seat.” She says taking a seat on the stool.
“Perfect view.” Shawn grins, chin rested in his hands as she goes on.
The team stands by the door, watching the adorable couple recreate the way her parents met.
“My mom said that she didn’t even really notice him, to engrossed in her books.”
“I bet you can relate to that.” Shawn snickers at her.
“Shh.” She says pointing at him. He makes a scene about zipping his lips and dropping the key. “But when he got up.”
Shawn stands.
“He passed her a note as he walked by.”
“What did the note say?”
“You are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.”
Shawn smiles, grabbing a napkin and quickly scribbling something on it.
“He walked by?” He asks starting to walk to her.
She nods, “He paid, left the note by her arm, and walked out.”
He smiles, “Well you gotta look away.” He says shaking his head.
She laughs, moving her head and looking down, pretending she’s reading.
She can see his shadow as he walks by, slipping the napkin under her elbow walking past her to the door.
She smiles, blushing, looking at the note.
‘I love you.’ messily written just for her.
She looks over at him to find him staring at her, happy smile on his face.
“Just like that?” He asks softly.
“Just like that.” She nods.
“Come on, let’s eat.” He says walking up and taking her hand.
He pulls her to the back booth, sliding in after her. He looks up at the team.
“Can we join the moment yet?” Geoff asks cautiously.
They both laugh nodding and waving the team over.
“I love being on tour, kind of hate how disgustingly cute your relationship is, but watching that was like watching a fucking movie.” Josiah says to the blushing couple.
**
“What are we doing?” Shawn asks as the team and his girlfriend drag him downtown to a local bar.
“We are.” She says stopping under the sign, pointing to it.
‘Karaoke Night!’
“Oh god.” Shawn mumbles looking at the rest of the team.
“You’re not allowed to compete.” She says bopping his nose.
“Compete for what?”
“The golden mic.” She shrugs, “Duh.”
“Oh sorry.” Shawn giggles, taking her hand and following her in.
They sit in the dark back corner, so Shawn won’t be recognized. He keeps his head low, and sunglasses on.
“Looking all cool with those shades on.” She says tracing his sharp jaw line.
“No he looks like he’s trying to cover the fact that he’s high.”
“Shut up.” Shawn laughs shoving Geoff’s arm.
“Okay up first we have Zubin!” The announcer called.
“Oh shit.” Zubin slams his beer before going up.
The group is cheering, and laughing as he forgets the words to a Kings of Leon song.
Next it Geoff who goes for a classic Brittany song.
Mike with a Camila song.
Josiah sings a Johnny Cash song.
“When are you going Babe?” Shawn asks bumping her shoulder.
“You have to leave when I go.”
“No way.” He shakes his head, setting his beer down.
“Yes!” She pleads.
“No, no way.”
“Y/n! You’re up.” The announcer calls.
“Fuck, I don’t wanna.” She whines to the boys.
“It was your idea. You have to, we all did.” They all whine back.
“You got this Babe.”
“Fuck.” She groans, getting up and trudging to the stage.
She’s nervous, but when the music starts she starts to relax.
Shawn watches her intently, falling in love with her even more as she sings to him. He can tell she’s singing to him, even though her eyes are shut.
“I’m thinking ‘bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways”
She opens her eyes, smiling at Shawn, giving him a wink.
He blushes and shakes his head, sipping his beer as all the guys razz him about being in love.
When she’s done the whole room is cheering and she’s got her head down as she rushes back to Shawn.
He quickly stumbles up from his seat and wraps her in his arms. She gasps at the speed of him getting to her.
“My god I love you.” He mumbles into her ear, kissing her necks at he buries his face in her neck.
“It was just a song Shawn, you act like we don’t blast it in the car.”
“I know, but it was amazing.” He says holding her tighter.
“Baby are you okay?”
“I just really love you.” He says pulling back just enough to see her face. “And I’m tired, with a touch of clingy.”
“Wanna go?” She asks noticing how tired he looks.
“Can we?” He pouts.
“Yeah.” She nods. Looking at the rest of the guys. “We’re gonna go back to the hotel.”
“Shawn did that really work you up?” They tease.
Shawn just rolls his eyes, throwing an arm around his girls shoulders and flipping the guys off as they walk out.
She’s giggling into his chest.
“What?” He asks when her giggles turn into a full blown laugh.
“Nothing.” She says shaking her head, walking into the hotel.
“What?” He asks, giggling at her now.
“Did that really work you up?” She giggles, laughing harder at his face.
“Shut up.” He mumbles, shoving her away playfully.
“I’m sorry.”
“No, keep laughing. I’m glad I can amuse you.” He crosses his arms, pouting.
“I’m sorry.” She says calming, leaning over and puckering her lips.
“No.” He shakes his head, denying her kiss.
“Give me a kiss.” She whines.
They stand in the elevator, him denying her kisses, her pleading with him.
“Shawn!” She stomps her foot, crossing her arms.
He looks over and smiles, laughing.
“It’s not funny.”
“Did that really work you up?” He mocks.
“You are such an ass-” He cuts her off, kissing her.
“Don’t even finish that sentence.” He says pulling away.
The doors ding and they walk to their room, hand in hand.
Once ready for bed, he stands at the foot of the bed looking at her as she snuggles into bed.
“What?” She asks looking at him over the comforter.
“Can I be the little spoon tonight?” He asks softly.
She sits up and stares at him with big eyes.
“You think I can hold you?”
“Please Baby, I love the way you hold me. Please.” He asks crawling towards her on the bed.
“Come here Baby.” She says motioning for him to come to her.
He sighs and crawls to her, slumping down next to her.
“Shawn are you okay?” She asks wrapping her arms around him and tangling her legs with his, one leg draped over his.
“Just wanna be held.” He sighs at the feeling of her arms around him.
She rubs her hands on his chest, in search of his, and she finds them interlacing their fingers.
“I love you.” She whispers, kissing the spot between his shoulder blades.
“I love you.” He whispers back, kissing the back of her hands.
**
Back on the bus she sits out front with Josiah and Andrew.
“No I never read them, I know ‘I can never put a book down’ but I watched the movies first so I didn’t want to - AHH” She says when she gets picked up halfway through her sentence.
“Bye Y/n!” Josiah calls.
“Shawn!” She laughs, being hauled over his shoulder. “What are we doing?”
“Nothing.” He says setting her on her feet, then picking her up and tossing her into his bunk.
“Shawn, I was in the middle of a conversation.”
“But they were stealing you.” He whines, crawling in after her
“Stealing me? From what?” She giggles, being wrapped up in his arms.
“From cuddles.” He says holding her tighter.
“Stealing me from cuddles.” She nods. “I think you come up with this shit in an intention to be cute.” She says bopping her nose. “But it’s just annoying.”
“Hey.” He whines, swatting at her butt.
She giggles, “I’m kidding you are always cute.” She says pushing back his curls.
“Thanks Babe.” He sighs, kissing her cheek. “You’re cuter.”
“You’re both gross.” Geoff grumbles, jumping out of his bunk.
“Awe but Geoff you’re grosser.” Shawn says sticking his head out of the bunk.
“Shut up.” Geoff mumbles, smacking the side of Shawn’s head.
She starts laughing and hides herself in Shawn’s arm.
**
She always stands side stage. Always.
But tonight, she’s decided to live the Shawn Mendes experience.
So she went out and bought a new shirt, one of his tour shirts. She also got all dressed up, and got her pass all ready to go.
“Babe where are you going?” Shawn asks as she starts to leave the dressing room.
“Um,” She says looking at the door and back at him. “I wanted to get a drink.”
“I can get one delivered.”
“No I got it.”
“Then I’ll come with you, it’s too crazy.” He argues.
“No it’s too close to show time, the first act is about to go.”
“Can you just be safe, and hurry?”
“Yeah, I love you.” She says kissing him quickly.
“I love you too.” He says watching you leave.
**
She’s found her spot, cheering along with the first act. Now waiting for Shawn to come out.
He’s late.
She’s watching the clock and he is 10 minutes late. She leans over the rail, looking side stage and sees him standing there tugging at his curls looking around.
“Just find her!” He yells, grabbing his guitar.
She slumps back, she never worried about not being there to see him off. He is always so busy he usually doesn’t even have time for a kiss so she didn’t think much of it.
The lights go out, and he walks on.
The crowd gets loud, like ungodly loud.
He starts singing, forced smile on his face, eyes darting back to look at Andrew side stage.
She watches him, yelling at him in her mind to look down at her. That way he will stop worrying about where she was.
“Thanks so much guys!” He says into the mic.
The next song starts and he walks by her, looking down as if he could hear her. He stops short, looking back down, locking eyes with her.
He smiles and she can see him visibly relax. He waves at her, and she winks back at him.
He goes on performing and then she watches as he turns to all the band.
“So this song isn’t on the set. But I wanna perform this, for those having new spots in their lives.” He looks at her, winking. “This is Kid In Love.”
She laughs and shake her head.
Half way through he jumps off the stage, in search of her. He scans the audience, pushing past fans and finally finding her.
He stands in front of you, holding her hand, staring directly into her eyes as he sings to you.
“Maybe I’m just a kid in love,” He sings, and she smiles joining in with him.
When the song finishes he just stares at her.
“You scared me.” He yells into her ear.
“I’m sorry.”
“How’s front row?”
“Side Stage is better.”
He smiles, setting his mic on the stage and then leans over the fence picking her up and pulling her to him. He walks with her up to side stage and leaves her with Andrew.
“Keep an eye on her, make sure she doesn’t disappear anymore.”
“I wanted to experience tour!” She protests.
“And you can, from right here.” He raises his eyebrows at her.
