#shaving tips

i’ve been a hair removal cream user for a while now and i want to switch to shaving so could you give the link of the one you use pls and maybe a pain rating

also i sugar wax my legs and would like to know just your shaving routine in general to keep your body soft and how often you do it

hey doll! so i looked for the link, its from the brand 'akunbem' for the longer side the pain rating is a 0/10, it doesn't hurt at all, but for the short side i'd give it like a 3/10 and only because sometimes you feel a little pokie feeling if your in the same spot too long 💕

as for my shaving routine in general i always use a sugar scrub first and i shave LAST in the shower. like i shower and wash my body and let the hair get all soft before i start shaving. 5 blade razors onlyy for me cuz they give me the cleanest shave and never shave dry. always have a shaving oil/shaving cream or something between the razor and your skin.

like i do it n i try to do it gently but it gets irritated sometimes and its hard to get in some places but anyways i was just wondering if uu had any advice to help a girlie hehe <33

Okay first of all I am NOT an expert. I bled when I did it the last time 😹 but when that is said I would say my shaving technique is getting better so tips:

1. Always use a completely new shaver/shaverhead. NEVER use the same twice. If I shave my whole body I use one shaver for my pussy area and another for the rest of my body

2. Find a really good shaving cream. This is kinda hard to guide about this one bc I think it differs from what you prefer. But try a men’s shaving cream !! I think it’s better <3

3. Always shave with the hairs never against them. If you shave against the hairs, there’s a bigger chance you’ll get ingrown hairs 🥴

4. Always wear a breathable material of panties(or no panties at all 😹 jk jk unless 👀 it is nice tho) so the skin can breathe and it doesn’t get irritated

5. TAKE YOUR TIME. I feel like every time I’m too much in a rush it just doesn’t work lol.

6. Moisturise the shaved area with a thick moisturiser right after🥰

Exfoliate your pubic area after shaving (or during stubble) and it makes you SO smooth and helps prevent ingrown hairs <3

I will admit that I don't know the answer to this! My facial hair is pretty straight, so it's not been as much of an issue. My suggestion would be to start with an electric trimmer and cut it nice and short, and see if that makes it easier to tell. Once it's as short as you can get it, running a piece of fabric along it and feeling where you feel resistance will help you figure out which way the grain is - if it tugs, you're going against the grain. But I can't guarantee this will help with curly hair.
