3 different people asked for drama misa specifically and im answering yours because yours is off anon and i love you nico. Also because your ask is the most incendiary and i think that’s really funny

also ill be honest whenever i write misa i make her an unholy fusion of drama, musical, and manga because i like to pick and choose my fav bits of each of them so like. What im saying is. I dont have coherent headcanons for drama misa specifically but i’ll do my best.

What they smell like:

You know i wanted to say perfume but because i have a specific breed of brain fungus i looked it up and perfume isn’t as much of a thing in japan apparently? at least not so much as it is in europe. Which tracks since perfume kind of has a cultural history in europe re: stinky no baths. 

Anyway ummmmmm. Probably just like. a really flowery shampoo.

How they sleep (sleeping position, schedule, etc):

misa pioneered the starfish technique. When she has nightmares she’s a kicker. avoid at all costs.

Also she’s meticulous about it girl goes to bed and gets up like clockwork according to what she thinks is healthiest.

What music they enjoy:

her own... No but the song her band plays in the drama, “Aryarya?” is actually a cover of a song by Shiho Nanba by. the same name. you can listen to it on spotify. it’s really cute actually.

Anyway like. Kira Kira Killer by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and also Amore by BABYMETAL are very misacore and also both songs if i wrote an au where misa was much less subtle i would definitely have her cover both of these LMAO. 

i actually want to make a playlist of songs that i think Misa would cover called イチゴ BERRY COVER ALBUM but i only have Aryarya?, Amore, and Kira Kira Killer. i mostly want to use japanese songs so im kind of at a block bc i only know japanese songs from the 80′s (plastic love lol). If you read this and you have any suggestions. Please help me

How much time they spend getting ready every morning:

Oh so much. she has to have an immaculate image bc idol culture in japan so she puts a lot of effort into her appearance. at LEAST an hour.

Goth Accessories (tm). i know drama misa is Not super goth compared to other adaptations but i think she has a few winning outfits. Also probably like. Music. i could super see Misa owning a record player for vinyl.

not super religious but follows shinto tradition

Favorite sport:

this isnt a sport per se but i am EXTREMELY invested in misa being into like. Aerobics. you know, the kind that comes to mind when you think leotards and legwarmers. she’s Fit.

Favorite touristy thing to do when traveling (museums, local food, sightseeing, etc):

depends on who she’s with. if she was with Light she would want to find the most “romantic” thing to do. like whatever the area’s most stereotypically Romantic (tm) attraction is, she’s there.

if she’s out with The Band (mako and serina) she and the girls go sightseeing and taking pictures for fun and for publicity

Favorite kind of weather:

just like. a nice slightly overcast day. if it’s too sunny it sucks but if it rains outright it messes up her whole deal.

A weird/obscure fear they have:

I dont know i can only think of normal things. Knives. (spins wheel) Stairs. You know, trauma things.

The carnival/arcade game they always win without fail:

L isn’t like, waking up early to do his sun salutations, either-- he’s just awake at most hours anyway. 8 - who made the first move?i think it was pretty mutual! in my ideal world they were. laying under L’s little tent in countermeasures during yotsuba, talking and laughing. maybe L asked light a question about the future, and light leaned forward a little at the same time L did. and maybe. they kiss. but who’s to say. 

15 - who is the gay who drives?L drives when he has to, but light takes public transport.16 - who gets jealous?L is so jealous. he sniffs at light as tells him that he’s sorry he isn’t as funny as light’s coworkers.

i’ve ranked my top 5 before but hmmm. drama spoilers incoming

1. EPISODE 9. the beginning of this episode and the ending of the previous episode are definitely my favorite scenes in the entire series. i also enjoy near being introduced to the task force and all of that

2. episode 8!!   see: previous bullet. this has the first half of the blue scene which made me weep real person tears (not hard). 

3. i dont see it a lot but i love soichiro and light’s confrontation in episode 10. ALSO L’s video to soichiro in the same episode. both of them give me the feelings and both i think are very important to the family themes of the drama 

4. episode 7 i just like the yotsuba arc and this episode is unfortunately all of that arc. i kind of would have preferred that this episode be split into two or even three episodes since the beginning of the series gets so much attention

5. episode 11 i just think the drama gets better as it goes on since they piddle around a lot less ALSO i love masataka kubota’s performance through the whole series but i think it really shines in light’s reveal

6. episode 1! it could be that ive seen it a LOT but i think this episode is very good at establishing things… its a very good ep for lights characterization. and the LIND L TAILOR BIT…. UGH. 

7. EPISODE 4. the TENNIS match. the SHOWER scene. MISA AMANE

8. wait i love episode 6 too. this is the one where misa and light are in confinement and it has some of my favorite L characterization in the entire series. (like him laughing at light during torture.) fucked up bastard. should this be higher??? oh god.  

9. 3? this has some interesting L characterization bits too (letting the fbi die) and some important early plot stuff but. im not married to this episode 

10. 5? i just dont remember a lot of this episode off the top of my head
