But as Derek is coming to terms with a former god trapped in his ruined mind, and his memories come to him in painful flashes, he's quickly sent running from a government agency determined to capture him. And Avery. Who is permanently involved, no matter how badly Derek regrets and feels responsible for that fact. As Derek pieces himself back together, he wars with the thought of whether Avery being around him is exactly what The King wants, or if the two of them can work better together to finally stop him.
