@shariheirâ WROTE :
đmy museâs biggest nightmare ( madar or indra )
Before the war, what Madara fears most is that he will not be able to achieve the peaceful version of the world he had once envisioned alongside Hashirama. Heâs terrified that things wonât go quite as planned, or that Hashirama will continue to be too weak to do what needs to be done, or that the inevitability of war will resurface &&. shatter everything they worked so hard to build. That is what initially sets him on his path toward the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Itâs that innate fear of losing control of something so fragile that he thinks the only solution is to remove the variable that poses the biggest threat: freedom.
After the war, Madara has resigned himself to the knowledge that nothing can be perfect &&. that there will always be conflict no matter what he or anyone else does. That doesnât mean peace is impossible; it just means it might exist differently than he thought it would. Now his worst fear is that he wonât be able to repair all the damage heâs caused in his meaningless pursuit of peace. He fears that someone else like him will arise one day &&. come to destroy this newfound alliance amoung the Five Great Nations once more. While that is a bone - chilling thought, though, Madara is able to process it much more calmly now.
âwho taught you to fight like that?â
Impromptu Asks // @shariheir The forest is marked by death, thick sequoias splashed with crimson, blood splattered across tainted green leaves, mud soaked with life force. The bodies that lay strewn across the area give clear insight to what had happened here, a deployed team of ANBU, armed and ready for a battle they would never hope to win. To attack the serpent was nothing more than a death sentence, a suicide mission. Neither bringing them back alive nor dead a feat possible for even the more exceptional shinobi within the Hidden Leafâs arsenal. But still, due to the stain the serpentine rogue left on Konohaâs deceptively corrupt image - the village would continue fruitless efforts to detain or execute them. The question catches the viper by surprise, as golden eyes shift to the side, their chatoyant gaze scanning over the second born Uchiha with a hint of curiosity. The Sannin is wearing as much blood as the forest around them, so very little of it, if any, their own. They take a moment to assess Sasuke, to scan his features and midnight eyes. Brilliant eyes. Optics that could flash a most stunning red. Bewitching for the serpent, due to the powers possessed.Â
They could offer the names of their mentors, Hiruzen, Danzo, sometimes older youths like Sakumo. They could give the name of past friends, team mates and sparring companions. But would that ever be the exact truth? Those shinobi had offered the serpent the tools, but the true training had come from their early childhood thrust in to enemy territory. It had come from the practiced art of survival, the armed and ready hostiles that tried relentlessly to bring down Hiruzenâs once in a generation prodigy. So they give him the short and precise answer. âWar.â Not any one specific person perhaps, not one specific academy. Instead, the Great shinobi strife of the past had acted their true mentor. They remove the residue of blood from the blade in their hand, wiped by the cloth of enemy attire. A man impaled and limp against one of the grand trees of the thriving forest. The movements of the Sannin in battle held a gracefulness to them, a fluid pattern akin to the serpents they summon. But there was a viciousness that betrayed that show of grace and elegance. A feral mannerism to the way they dispatch of enemies. Their steps bring them closer to the young heir, an enticed expression in the vipers gaze when theirs meets his. How they can not help but envision those magnetic eyes spinning to life in to crimson hues. âA mentor can teach you a great deal my dear, but none will serve a greater mentor than your enemies.â
@shariheir :Â â is it true what he said? â
  âof course, it is.â it could be heard as an assurance, though sheâs one to mock not comfort. still, itâs straightforward, a simple statement of the facts, earlier she just built on what Sakon had already told him. there was power, there was loss & the two went hand in hand. theyâd all been curious, all wanted to see just who had been deemed worthy of fulfilling kimimaroâs role. (this oneâs just a brat--no, she is to treat him as an extension of orochimaru-sama & she shall. sheâs here because of the chain wrapped neatly around her neck & thereâs no chance of breaking free of it)Â
â youâll have power, what else do you need? â her voice remains flattened, & really, wasnât this what he wanted?  This dream-vessel, who would lose everything he was before. (youâll find out soon.) For now, they needed to keep him moving, they didnât have time to fuck around, & it still remained imperative that he come willingly.

He appears to have been approached by a vengeance of Sasuke...
this place isn't one he thought he'd ever return to in his lifetime. but it called him nontheless, despite his grievances he held against his mentor, the acts that occured here & why he did it " orochimaru, " his black eyes fall upon them " do you have any information on karma ? and the group known as kara? "
Impromptu Asks // @shariheir To say a visit from their old student was surprising was an understatement. Still, no matter how much distance the Uchiha tried to place between himself and his mentor, somehow he never could sever the last of his connections with them. Forever would there be something he may need from them, and such was the way the serpent liked it. To know that no matter what the man thought of them, he would still come back again, at a most unexpected and pleasant time. Allowing them to see what he had become after the lessons they had offered to shape him in to such a formidable shinobi. But more than anything, to see who he had become all on his own, by his own will, to his own credit. They have been aware of his arrival the moment his cloaked figure navigated around their parole and set off various hidden seals. A little precaution put in place so no vigilante could try and assassinate the serpent and overrule the pardon they had received. It was not lost on the Sannin that the only reason they are given such exemption from the death penalty is because of their usefulness. It is the same reason Sasuke is here before them, seeking out the all knowing sage that never tired of gathering intel and exploiting the laws of the universe for their own benefit or curiosities. While they could find their way down their own labyrinth like corridors to greet him at the entrance as they usually do, this time, they let their student come to them. Continuing with one of their projects despite how Sasuke makes their interest in such research dwindle. Far more inquisitive to have him return to his once home in Otogakure. His to-the-point question, sparing little greeting other than calling their name, earns a soft and silken chuckle from their lips. As they carefully placed one of the vials back in to its holder, after inspecting the measurement was precisely to their liking. âItâs good to see you again too, my dear.â
Instantly, their eyes meet those obsidian ones he watches them with, as if transfixed for a moment by the power dormant. They had been forced to abandon their dream of obtaining such useful optics for themself, but they would never be forced to stop admiring such power. In their years spent in prison and on parole, they had learnt a valuable lesson in being satisfied with observing rather than possessing. They turn to face him fully, slender arms folded over their chest as a svelte figure leans against the counter containing their latest project. âNo time for pleasantries I take it,â they hum in amusement, allowing themself the moment to analyze his form curiously, appreciatively even, as they spot all the changes to the man now far more grown up than since the two last spoke, âhave I ever been known to be out of the loop?â they ask, not a question they truly expect him to answer, as they chuckle lightly in to their kimono sleeve, before pushing themself gracefully away from the counter, to move toward another room after offering Sasuke a glance that prompted he followed, âyou must be just as well aware I am not known for handouts however. Information for information, sounds fair doesnât it? You have been away for so long, the least you can offer in return is some feedback on where you have been.â
@shariheirâ sent: " this world is better off without him. every wrong he etched into the soil was returned tenfold, his death nessecary. the third was just a coward & let his misguided sense of friendship cloud his judgement. " ( for yamato )
He regarded the young man carefully, his own face revealing nothing. He couldnât be sure what had prompted this statement from Sasuke, but that didnât matter. If it was something on the otherâs mind, something he felt he needed to address or explain, then Yamato would let him. He could find no argument in Sasukeâs words. It was true that Hiruzenâs history with Danzo had allowed too many things to occur, had enabled the man to push boundaries that would have otherwise been questioned and prevented.Â
It was complicated. He had hated Danzo once his eyes had been opened, hated the things he thought were necessary, hated the very foundation of Root and its methods, but... the man had raised him. He could never call him a father now, knowing what a real father was, but he had been the closest thing to family heâd ever had back then. The only adult who ever seemed to care, even if all Danzo wanted was his power. His death had, therefore, left him with conflicted emotions. There would always be a part of him, the small boy who had nothing, that felt like he owed Danzo something.
âGood intentions are often the root of misguided deeds. By your reasoning, the same could be said of Naruto, no? There are many who believe his sense of friendship to you has clouded his judgement, many times. Does that make him wrong, for believing the best of you? Is Naruto a coward?â He let his words hang in the air between them, gave Sasuke a chance to contemplate. âI am not sorry he is dead, Sasuke. You donât have to explain yourself to me.â
