Thanks for bringing this back again to share! I missed it the first time and whole heartedly agree. In fact, I just read it aloud to my hubby and teenaged daughter (who’s into various other fandoms) to give some context about why we read fan fiction, still.

You know, I joined Tumblr way back when precisely so I could interact with the fic writers I had been following. I wanted to be able to reblog and comment instead of sending Asks from an Anon. The fic writers of Glee augmented my experience to a point where I truly believe that the show is only half as good when viewed without the literary evidence of how it inspired so many people to write, to fill-in, to fix, to imagine countless worlds and universes where these characters could interact and make us feel ALL of the things.

I’ve been feeling exactly the same way...maybe there is something in the air. Hope you feel better. I don’t really know you but what I know I like (that’s as enthusiastic as I can get right now - sorry)

I was called to be on grand jury duty a year ago and it was fascinating. I really enjoyed it and now know more about how to create secret indoor pot growing systems than I ever expected to know. However, we were surprisingly lucky in that our group didn’t get any child rape or molestation cases, and minimal violent ones. It was a memorable and worthwhile experience. ShariCat

Also, in an early scene there is an old tv show playing in the background with Bill Bixby (the original "David Banner") on it. ShariCat
