Ukraine has always been a part of Europe – geographically, historically, culturally, and through the choices of its people. Today, amid Russia’s full-scale war, this connection is growing even stronger – through reforms, unity, and our shared responsibility for the future of the continent.

For Ukrainians, Europe is the values we defend every day: freedom, democracy, human dignity, the rule of law, and solidarity between nations.

While defending our own independence, Ukraine is also contributing to the security and resilience of Europe as a whole. Millions of Ukrainians are already helping build a stronger European future – on the frontline, in communities, through innovation, reconstruction, culture, and everyday life.

Moving ahead with the campaign of VAW-2025, Vigilance Department,PPA organized two exciting events on 31st October 2025 - a vibrant Drawing Competition and a lively Fancy Dress Contest for local school students.

These young talents showcased remarkable creativity, poured their imagination into colors and characters, expressing this year’s theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility" in an exceptional manner.

A Day of Powerful Voices and Purpose! An English Elocution Competition among local school students, hosted by the Vigilance Team, PPA at the Officers’ Club on 30th October 2025, was a resounding success! As part of a weeklong campaign, young students took the stage to share compelling thoughts on this year’s theme: "Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility."

From heartfelt speeches on integrity to bold ideas on transparency and accountability, the event showcased the passion and promise of a vigilant generation.

🍛 Here’s what real change looks like: ✅ A husband who doesn’t wait to be reminded to refill the water bottles
✅ A son who learns to cook dal-tadka before he learns to drive
✅ A father who packs his child’s school tiffin without “babysitting”
✅ A brother who chops veggies without being asked These aren’t big acts — they’re everyday moments of shared responsibility.
They’re not about “helping her” — they’re about being part of the family health system.

📣 This Nutrition Month, I’m asking you to reflect: ➡️ In your home, who carries the mental load of nutrition?
➡️ What’s one small action you can take to share that load — consistently, not occasionally?
➡️ And if you’re already doing it — talk about it. Not to boast, but to normalize it.

An Elocution Competition in Hindi for local school students is being hosted on 29th October 2025 at the Officer’s Club, PPA, as part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025.Guided by this year’s theme, "सतर्कता हमारी साझा जिम्मेदारी", the event brings young voices together to express their thoughts on integrity, transparency, and collective accountability.

Workplace safety improves when every person, leaders, supervisors, and frontline workers takes ownership. It’s not about one department enforcing rules, but about everyone looking out for each other. A culture of safety thrives when people feel empowered to speak up, share concerns, and suggest improvements without fear.

Two Tips to Strengthen Safety Culture:

Encourage open, blame-free reporting of hazards and near-misses

Recognize and reward employees who actively contribute to safety improvements
