It's...beautiful.

Finally getting around to making this post. The Fall was a series that starred Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan and ran from 2013-2016. It's a very dark series so be warned.

Summary: Metropolitan Police Superintendent Stella Gibson, a senior investigating officer tasked with reviewing investigations, is seconded to the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) in order to assess the progress of a murder investigation that has remained active longer than 28 days. When it becomes apparent a serial killer is on the loose, local detectives must work with Stella to find and capture Paul Spector, who is attacking young professional women in the city of Belfast. As time passes Stella's team works tirelessly to build a case, but they are met with complications both inside and outside the PSNI.

There are plenty of familiar faces from Derry Girls.

When I started watching Britannia last week I knew I had seen David Morrissey somewhere before, but as I scrolled down his list of credits I kept saying “No, not that” even for movies that I had actually seen him in.  It wasn’t until I got to his appearance on Doctor Who that I said “Yes, that is where I know him from!”

I don’t know how I didn’t make the connection with Camina Drummer.

I was scratching my head and that’s when I got to her theater work and my jaw dropped: I saw Emily Skeggs as Medium Alison in Fun Home.
