I've spent the past few days filling out applications and I've noticed this too. ( In veterinary medicine they ask questions about how you are with people, and a significant number of applicants are autistic. )
I mean I kinda understand having to be able to be good with people if you’re gonna be an Internal Medicine doctor (unnecessary for me, btw, considering I’m going into surgery), but for vets?? What?? You’re gonna be working with animals!!!
I mean, yeah, you need to talk to the owners to get a good history and whatnot but its not like many of them are gonna be shifty about it like in human medicine
im..... so frustrated about this paper because my real thoughts are “i dont care what your religious morals are, people are getting hurt” but i have to argue it as “our religious morals should be okay with this”
