Years ago I used to draw with cheap Shaeffer fountain pens replacing the normal ink with Rapidograph ink for darker line. Refilling the little plastic cartridges was a real hassle though.

Sheaffer was founded in Iowa so it's unfortunate that their pens are lame.
However BB-8 is a cute lil guy.
