The image above is of Mnomquahās Mandala from the Shadow Work 2 years ago, provided as an example of the work. The following text is from her instagram:
Here's a little bit of information about what these two prompts are about. (Those of you who participated in the challenge two years ago will remember š) On the first and last day of the challenge you're asked to create a mandala. You can use any medium of your choice, it could be a simple drawing or an elaborate painting - whatever you feel drawn to express. The process should be intuitive, not much planning involved. When you go with the flow you allow for the deeper parts of the Self to come forth and manifest. Once your mandala is complete, you might want to take some time to try and interpret its meaning - it's kind of similar to interpreting oracle cards intuitively. You can also leave the mandala be and wait till the end of the challenge to have two mandalas to compare. You'll be surprised how different they'll feel.
Iām so excited to be beginning this shadow work journey! This yearās set of prompts is based on the four elements, and the Qlippoth (shadow side of Sephirots of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life). Past years focused on the Heroās Journey spread. While I think I may miss the Heroās Journey, as it was deeply informative, the past few weeks the Tree of Life has been popping up in odd places, which makes me feel a sense of kismet with these prompts. And, truthfully, Iām a sucker for anything thatās elemental based, lol.
Happy journeying witches <3
