     cue the dramatics -- arms flailing up in the arm, lips pursed into a slight pout as jervis dropped into the chair behind him. “oh, come on !!” he protested ( okay, maybe whined ) as he peered at jerome. “well now you are just being so mean, out here acting like the cruel red queen.” perhaps a little over done with everything, but jervis was nothing if not overly dramatic and over the top with everything that he did. “i was just asking for a little help in getting operations going again. help a friend out??”

“Is this the moment I’ve been waitin’ fer?” she mused, twirling the knife in her hand. She’d been waiting for the day Thorn would want to learn how Harley had fun. “Let’s start ya off with somethin’ small...” After grabbing the girl’s hand, she skipped towards her weapons room. “Maybe some cupcake grenades an’ throwin’ knives... No bazookas just yet. They’re a lil’ tricksy.” Turning her head, she grinned at Thorn as she unlocked the door with her bobby pin. “Welcome ta my treasure trove!” Glancing over at the corpse of a clown masked man in the corner, she grimaced. “I forgot ‘bout him... He’s only been there fer 2 days. I’ll uhh, see if some piranhas need a snack later.”

“I mean, you could, but I wouldn’t be half as entertained.” Natasha took a seat on the couch, her arms crossed as she stared at her friend. “So, is there any particular reason I found you mumbling to yourself in a dimly lit room? Are you going through something? Please don’t be going through something. I’m not good at emotions and feelings, Tony.” She knew that it was easy for him to slip into depressive episodes, but it was like that for most people living in Gotham. It wasn’t exactly Happyville. “Anyway... Let’s get drunk to avoid this conversation.”

“By that logic, we could all run around blowing up whichever buildings we want, stealing whatever we want, killing whoever we want... The GCPD isn’t exactly hot on catching all the bad guys these days.” They tried their best, but it was never enough. Too many cops had died in gunfights, and a lot of them had fled Gotham. There were only a handful of decent ones left. “You have a toddler to think about, Barbara. And a daughter, too. If anything were to happen to you, would you really want her having the responsibility of looking after her baby brother? Because you know she’s too stubborn to let myself or Oswald take him.” Getting up from her seat, she stood tall, looking down at her friend. “I’m telling you to get whatever you’re thinking of doing out of your head, Babs. If you get yourself locked up for my wedding, I’ll never forgive you,” she said, then gave the blonde a smile. “Going back to being a criminal is easy. It’s the staying strong and setting an example for Peter that’s hard.”

Personal Head canon: When Lucius and Ed got married, Ed toyed with the idea of taking Lucius’s name but he was too connected to his identity as a “Nygma” and kept his own. He asked Lucius not to take his name either because he wanted to keep calling him “Foxy”. As a result, their child got a hyphenated last name.
