of course, she wouldn’t notice the other until she was close, within a few feet of the sheriff. sometimes she wonders how the woman can be so silent when those heels look like they’d clack loudly on the tile beneath them && alert all to her whereabouts. yet, caitlyn has learned not to question evelynn’s skills, knowing that they were perhaps beyond the comprehension that the human could offer. eyes were wide when the other was noticed, but quickly relaxed. “evelynn, sneaky as ever, i see.”
