Even with FTL capabilities, Quinn has had a lot of time to mull over the precariousness of the situation she now finds herself in. Requesting aid and trying to explain the circumstances of the Commonwealth’s fate the past decade or so, naturally, had earned a need to research and understand the situation better. Especially when mentions of its past history of nuclear war are involved. She had been gone a long time, but she still remembered enough of the crash-course history lessons to the galaxy. Tuchanka, the Krogan, and their history with nuclear war instilled a healthy dose of caution it would appear.
Enough to send a Spectre, apparently. Quinn holds herself like a locked case, hard to crack and harder to know just what lies inside. But with the promise of aid dangling overhead at the green light of that one Spectre, she finds herself on edge.
❝Now, I'm sure you read the briefings before joining our little party.❞ The shuttle’s descent towards CASTLE base was timed precariously in between the colony’s radstorms. Even so, the turbulence is choppy as they make their way towards the landing pad. ❝So you know that CASTLE is one of our safest locations on the planet, all good people. But that safety came at a cost; we’ve a lot of mechs, turrets, tech on point to keep everything secure. I only ask that you not interfere with the equipment. I’ll be happy to offer a tour, let you speak to the people, ask questions - even take you to visit some of the other settlements here. You’re in charge, after all, and the Commonwealth is an open - if risky - book.❞
