Junpei shot his eyes down, unsure of IF he wanted to talk to Ryoji. After being told that he was the harbinger of Death, it was hard to even look him in the eye. Just thinking about confronting his own possible death dealt in by the hand of his friend--he felt like he was going to be sick.

"Ah, this will be a big scoop for me." Eri spoke to herself out, looking at her phone. She was on the case of a Diet member who was currently being investigated for tax fraud. If she got all the details out on an article first, her viewership was going to skyrocket. And that made her have a big ol smirk on her face. Though, she was feeling a bit of pain in her messed up leg.

Despite all the physical therapy she had done and a surgery or two to fix things, it was still a bit too weak to walk around without a brace on it to keep it stabilized. She tried one time and she ended up on the floor with no way of getting herself back up. What an embarrassing way of having an ambulance ride to the hospital that was for sure.

She was about to head into the Shibuya station to head to the diet building, when she happened to see that Toshiro was in the area. What for? She didn't know, but seeing him in the flesh again made her cheeks brighten up, and a ray of sunshine to envelop her. Making her way over, slowly but surely, she waved and yelled his name. "Toshiro! Toshiro! It's so good to see you again! I'm not going to sprint to you and tackle hug you this time, I promise." At least age hadn't made her any less silly.

'humanity truly cannot help themselves,' their thoughts on the matter came with great amusement. It did not matter how many years passed, to them humans would remain the same so this 'realm' could never fully disappear. Even if groups made an attempt to. And so Nyarlathotep remained still in their observation of this current area yet intelligent enough to still keep up and act that he's nothing more than a lost, bewildered and scared human. That was how his son described them being when witnessing such a place for the first time. How helpful that boy was.

"..what are you? Why are you here? ... I'm not going to die today..." Mimicking fear was not that common for him as it never had been useful before. Pretending to be someone's father in the old incident never required it. But this man..had he seen his visage before? "That politician?"

This girl was spot-on with the names. They’ve only really been a public phenomenon once and from there it seems she’s just been a fan of them ever since..or perhaps the love she has for them had only gotten stronger from that point. The way she spoke of Skull messing up his line, oh that moment definitely was not intentional but there wasn’t a hint of mockery in her tone, flaws in all it seems she really does genuinely respect all the thieves.

That alone justifies a friendship between the two. “Well it’s been a year since then...but I have a feeling they’re not done.” With the metaverse back, it was certainly time for the thieves to make their return. “We have some lunch time left, would you like to spend it with me? I’ve got tons of things to say about Skull if you’re interested.”

It had been a little bit now since the whole vacation stuff and there was some stuff that happened in it that she had been thinking about. The fact that they were so close to having all been captured and it was only because of her tripping that they were spared a full team wipe. And there was also the fact that Zenkichi was the reason why they were all safe and not stuck in that Jail for however long it was going to be. That’s why she was surprised when she would bump into him in Yongen.

"Oh, you know, just heard it through the grapevine..." He waves his hand dismissively with a big smile, not quite answering her question. He doesn't really remember, to be honest. Some guy at school, probably. Junpei or Tomochika? Whatever! He does a little bow and takes her hand in his.
