Apparently if you have any doubts about Exaggerator's record on a fast track, that makes you a hater. HERE'S THE THING - Exaggerator is 0-4 on a fast track this year. His 2016 fast track record includes: San Vicente, 2nd to Nyquist San Felipe, 3rd to Danzing Candy Kentucky Derby, 2nd to Nyquist Belmont Stakes, 11th to Creator Yes. He has put in great performances on fast tracks, hitting the board several times against Nyquist (although a lot of people nowadays think Nyquist is the shittiest horse to ever hit the track, most disrespected horse of all time). HOWEVER, he could only win over Nyquist (or other horses) when he got rain. See Santa Anita Derby, Preakness, and Haskell. He didn't get that in the Belmont and he faded to 11th, only beating maiden winners. The people who think Exagg is the best horse ever to hit the track make the excuse that he was tired. My response to that is one word- "Lani". The Exagg fanboys love to bring up the fact that he had won on a fast track before. This is true, but it was a year ago as a juvenile and the horses he beat haven't gone on to do much. When you mention this, the fanboys get really butthurt. I'm not saying that Exagg can't win this Saturday, just that it's PERFECTLY FINE for people to gave their doubts. I know I sound like I actually hate Exaggerator. I do not. I just get really pissed off at the Exaggerator Desciples thinking that he's Secretariat or even Shadow Fax or something.
We've just heard the sad news that Blanco, the beautiful horse that played Shadowfax in the Lord of the Rings films, has died. We knew that he'd been ill and
I am saddened to hear the news....May the stallion run freely across so wide a Sea....
I got a good laugh from this one.Β
