So last night I had a sudden realization: In just a week and a day more, I'll be on my way home. 4 hours after I leave this place I will be right back where I spent almost 18 years of my life. Back in my small crappy town with nothing left to offer me. Don't get me wrong though, I love my hometown to death! But now that I've been away for the first time ever for an extended period of time I've come to realized that it's not the place you miss but really the people and the memories. My life is once again about to make a complete turn around for the second time in less than a year. I've finally been exposed to something different and great, but it'll all be gone again in the blink of an eye. I'll lose all the freedom I've gained once I'm living with my parents again. No more late night walks and trips, no more having someone over constantly, no more seeing friends everyday, no more of this life I just barely am getting used too! But at the same time I'm dying to see all my friends I've known for years, be with my family again, be home and be with my love. Oh, it is sooo bittersweet. Back in August or even last week, I never would have imagined the end of the school year would feel like this.
