I’m imagining a feudal period Japan au where 3jsb are animal yokai taking the form of humans or something…!

Naoto… can be a Hoo (peacock) who shows off and dazzles court ladies, and then the next day servants find their ladies in a daze with the only evidence a peacock feather. Well, according to the yokai wiki it’s supposed to be a symbol of purity and peace but y’know, creative license

Naoki… can be a Kirin, a gentle and revered creature said to have an expression of utter serenity. Sometimes sighted in quiet forests and other times leaping freely across the plains in a blur of golden light. Probably helps people find their lost children too.

Elly… can be a Kotobuki! An auspicious chimera that protects humans from sickness and disease and grants long life to the good. I guess during celebrations he might make a fabulous and energetic appearance to the imperial court.

Gun...  the only manipulative and seductive animal yokai I can see here is a nekomata, cat spirit with a forked tail, contemptuous towards humans and can use their powers to create giant fireballs and influence humans to do terrible things.

Ken... can be a Sachihoko (fish-tiger), a huge sea monster that can swallow gigantic amounts of water, and seen as a symbol of protection because it can spit out the water in its belly or summon rain clouds to help humans when their houses are set on fire.

Omi… an okuri-inu, a seeing-off dog. A dog or wolf like creature that follows night travellers through a forest. If you should trip, then he’d pounce on you and eat you up. But whilst he’s after you, no other animal would dare come close because he’s so feared.

If the purpose of this photo editing is to make him look like a pretty boy idol with pasty white skin, then it is completely uncalled for. Because Ryota is perfect and unique the way he is. Personally, I’m less concerned about the comparison with Luhan (though I don’t think they look similar except the babyface??). Unless they say derogatory terms like Ryota is an imitation of him or lesser than him or whatever, then yes I will take offense.

Like you, I am not able to see the similarities between him and Luhan, except maybe for the eyes. Nor do I have much care about the comparisons being made. My issue is how they feel the need to lighten his skin as to further emphasize and prove their point that Ryota and Luhan look alike.

My heart dropped a little to see how much of a vampire they made Ryota look like and it is no way a flattering look on him.

Oh yeah. When I used to be in the KPOP fandom, I remember how Tao (who’s naturally very tanned) was whitewashed to the point he looked sickly pale. That was one of the things I hated about the KPOP fandom, the constant whitewashing.

Who accidentally pushes a door instead of pulling/vice versa: Elly and Ryuji will both do this and then end up laughing and get nothing done, until someone behind them (probably Ken) tells them to stop being dumb

Who doodles little hearts all over the desk with their initials inside them: Elly would do a cool graffiti style heart and initial and nobody would even know it was actually romantic. Ryuji will be very impressed and also oblivious.

Who starts the tickle fights: Elly! 

Who starts the pillow fights: Both of them!

Who falls asleep last, watching the other with a small affectionate smile: Elly might do a better job of staying awake for longer, and then he wouldn’t be able to stop admiring Ryuji’s sleeping face.

Who mistakes salt for sugar: Ryuji

Who lets the microwave play the loud beeping sound at 1am in the morning: Still Ryuji, though Elly might humour him and join in the midnight snacking.

Who comes up with cheesy pick up lines: Elly for sure. And it will be rap style.

Who rearranges the bookshelf in alphabetical order: Do they even read?? How about arranging jellybeans by colour instead!

Who licks the spoon when they’re baking brownies: Elly, though he will also let Ryuji lick the spoon.

Who buys candles for dinners even though there’s no special occasion: Elly, and he won’t be too shy about doing it either.

Who draws little tattoos on the other with a pen: Elly, and Ryuji will not want to ever wash them off.

Who comes home with a new souvenir magnet every time they go on vacation: Elly this time, and they’d be really weird magnets.

Who convinces the other to fill out those couple surveys in the back of magazines: They won’t really need to convince one another because they’re both pure and cute.
