Delays, delays, and more delays! (But also... TAPAS!)
Well everything pretty much went down the toilet after that last post, eh?
If for some reason you think you might have missed our Toronto Comic Con appearance, great news! You didn’t! ... because it was cancelled. Like every other major event of 2020, thanks to that virus that starts with a C that we’re all very sick of (pun not intended). We held out hopes that our second con appearance, at TCAF, might have still gone through, but those hopes were dashed pretty soon after. (You can still experience TCAF 2020 via their digital showcase, which is available for download for free off of Gumroad! Not only are we in there, but there’s tons of other incredible artists and projects that are well worth your time!)
It’s an understatement to say that we’re really bummed about all this. After taking a year off of the con circuit, we were super ready to get back out there and meet you fine folk! All of our fingers are crossed that we’re able to return to some level of normalcy in time for next year’s conventions, which we WILL be attending for sure!
But hey, it’s not all bad, as you can still get your Songs fix in an entirely new way. Presenting...
That’s right! Thanks to the good folks at Vault and Tapas, you can now read Songs for the Dead in a convenient app-friendly form! We’re very excited to be introduced to the audiences of Tapas, and for anyone here who’s looking to check out the series in a new and exciting way, we invite you to give it a try! Several entries can be read for FREE right now!!
It’s been an absolutely dreadful year so far, let’s be honest, and there’s still another six months to go. We’re hoping to have at least a little bit of good news to share with you... soon.
