Just before Hook and Emma get pulled into the time portal in 3x21, Hook stops Emma by grabbing her arm, and they have this conversation:
H: "Wait! we have to get out of here."
E: "Not until we find a way to close it!"
H: "You got your magic back?"
E: "No."
H: "Well, then, we're not bloody well messing with any of this! Let's go!"
I love that although Hook has acted like a whipped little puppy to his Swan in the past, doing whatever she asks of him, at this moment he's like "F#&K NO! We are NOT going in there, crazy!" And she looks as though she's ready to listen to him and is about to turn around right as they get sucked through the barn door.
I just find this "take charge" side of Hook extremely sexy, and it shows that although he would do almost anything for Emma, he's not afraid to stand up to her and protect her when she's about to make a very stupid decision. There was nothing "whipped" about that, mmmhmmm...

Emma: Who?
