Prompt: “The cards saaay... you're a Big DORK!" Pairing: Sam x Reader “Can I interest you in a reading?” you asked, leaning over Sam from behind him, wrapping your arms around his neck. You shuffled the tarot cards in your hands, holding them out in front of him.
He laughed. “Is that the same deck?” he asked as you came around the table to sit across from him and continued to shuffle the cards. You smirked at the memory. “Yep. Same deck. I will never forget the look on your face when I gave you your first reading.”
He laughed again. “And the rest is history,” he added. He shut his laptop and gave you his full attention. “Go ahead.”
“Well you have to ask me a question first,” you said. “Anything you’re burning to know?” You flashed him a grin. Sam looked over his shoulder covertly, clearly to make sure Dean wasn’t around, and then back at you. “Am I... going to get lucky later tonight?” he asked, giving you a conspiratorial look.
You raised your eyebrows at him and gave him a sassy look but couldn’t help allowing a little smirk. You began to lay out four cards face down in a diamond pattern. You reached for the card at the top and lifted it so you could see the pattern. “Ooooh... yikes,” you said, giving Sam an apologetic look. “This one? This is for Romance...”
“Well, what is it?” You shook your head, looking seriously at the card in your hand. “The card saaaaays... you’re a HUGE dork.” You flashed a wide smile at him.
And Sam laughed and shook his head. “Okay. You actually really did have me going for a second there... Geez, never date a psychic. How could I have ignored Dean’s rule?” You laughed at him and glanced back at the card in your hand. “Well, give me a second to redeem myself. Your romance card is actually ‘The Fool’ and it’s in the upright position for you. This means new beginnings, innocence--” which drew a laugh from Sam, “--and spontaneity.”
Sam thought about it for a moment. “Hmm. Spontaneity huh?” “Yep.”
He nodded to himself. “Yep. Sounds about right. I have some surprises in store for you later...” requested by @sarmar29! (P.S. I MISS YOU TOO, BEEBS! <3 )
