Idea for !dark sevvitus?
The thought just occurred to me: why didn’t the Death Eaters, after the first fall of Voldemort, think of kidnapping and raising Harry Potter themselves? This idea may sound a little crazy, but it is also, to some extent, brilliant, because it would be a powerful blow to the defenders of Muggle-borns and Muggles, for whom Harry is a living symbol of freedom from the oppression of pureblood wizards. I’m not saying that with all the connections and money for aristocrats it would be easier to do this. The only one who would not like this idea among the Death Eaters is Snape, and for the reason that with a 90% probability he was appointed to be the father for the younger Potter, because the potions master himself is a teacher and dean of Slytherin and has much more experience communicating with other people's children than anyone else.
