What’s an unpopular GoT opinion you have?

Probably that Jaime should have died, just not the way he did (which was trash, meaningless, nonsensical, and destroyed his character and character arc). As much as I love to read and write all of the fanfic where he and Brienne get to live happily ever after, given the canon text and the path he is on towards redemption... I feel like it is meant to end with him dying heroically (probably protecting Brienne or one of the Starks)... as tragic as that would be.

Which GoT character do you personally relate to?

This one is actually a challenge, after all this time. I started reading the books 20 years ago and I’ve identified with a lot of characters for a lot of reasons over the years.

Hell, when I started reading them I was the around age of (the book versions) of Dany/Jon/Robb and now I am the age of their parents.

In no particular order, I have related to:

Sansa’s initial romanticism.

Jaime’s feelings of being misunderstood.

Daenerys’ search for purpose and meaning in her suffering.

The Queen of Thorns being 1000% done with everyone.

Cersei’s fears around “losing” her beauty.

Varys sense of being the only person actually thinking about the good of everyone.

How easily Brienne is embarrassed when people talk about her.

Stannis’ exhaustion with being outshone by his younger siblings instead of being recognized for everything he’s done.

Catelyn’s frustration with having her words ignored.

Yes, Good: Tyrell, Tully, Stark

When Sansa is sending Brienne off to King's Landing in to represent her interests and Brienne says it's not safe (meaning for Sansa to be without her protection), Sansa is like "Jaime Lannister will be there. You said he treated you honorably" (and Brienne looks super awkward and embarrassed).

Why?!

Because my boss is useless.

Basically I was an acting up in to a band 6 position and then interviewed for a permenant band 6 position (basically the same job I was already doing) and I got it but had to wait to make it official until I got my qualification needed for it. When I did get the qualification my boss informed me my job doesn’t exist he didn’t do the process properly. So now I have to re-interview for the job I had already interviewed for because he royally fucked up.

And I am not even the first person this has happened to with job screw ups. At least three other staff members have similar tales of messing up contracts/hours/jobs. I really want to walk in to the office and throw my anti-depressants at my boss like I wouldn’t need these if you did your job properly.

Get some electrolytes in so you don’t get an imbalance especially if you’ve lowered carbs a lot

I’m still eating. There are a lot of carbs in vegetables for less calories than pasta/rice/bread so I haven’t gone keto. I’ve mostly cut out sugar/fats to the best of my ability.

#severussnake #fruits and root veg are pretty high in carbs but with more nutrition than pasta/bread etc
