Taco time! They always have a long line up, but it's a worth waiting in the line to get their tacos. I got the gobernador (smoked tuna, shrimp and cheese), black pepper marlin (grilled blue marlin with avocado sauce) this time.

Welcome to our latest blog series featuring our review of the top desserts of summer 2016 in Toronto. You’ve seen countless photos of these desserts on Instagram, but do they live up to the hype? Follow our blog series to find out!
Seven Lives Paleteria is an extension of the Seven Lives Tacos Y Mariscos brand exclusively focusing on Mexican-style and inspired desserts. They specialize in paletas (Mexican-style popsicles) but also serve a wide variety of other desserts and drinks, such as soft-serve ice cream, aguas frescas, mangonadas, and even sundaes.
We ordered the coconut guava and watermelon paletas and we found them to be very refreshing. The coconut guava is essentially a block of coconut with guava fruit embedded into the popsicle, while the watermelon is actually shaped and colored like an actual slice of watermelon! We really liked the very creative presentation of the each individual paleta and the flavors were very good representations of the respective fruits. All in all, it's an excellent and creative summer treat 4/5.
