What will Chuck Schumer do if he has to choose between the Democrats and Israel? The question begs for an answer with the rise of the partyâs new âitâ politician, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Sheâs the Democratic Socialist who toppled Joe Crowley in the Democratic primary in New Yorkâs 14th Congressional District. Sheâs a nightmare for the Jewish state.
No oneâs arguing Israel is the only, or even primary, issue before Congress. Nor is Schumer the only Democrat of the ilk whose more centrist policies are being challenged by Ocasio-Cortez.
Schumer, though, has spent a career presenting himself as Israelâs greatest defender. Howâs Schumer going to protect that brand if Ocasio-Cortez wins in November?
Even the liberal Israeli daily Haaretz reports that Ocasio-Cortez âis seen as the embodiment of the Democrats shifting away from Israel.â Itâs not hard to see why.
So has the WSJ decided to just go "fuck it"? Now they're have an article calling for the secret service to kidnap Julian Assange to stand trial in a US court
Well it isnât really the WSJ, its Seth Lipsky a specific writer, for all of the Wall Street Journalâs faults it isnât a hive mind, they have a wide variety of writers with different opinions.  But yes, I do disagree with Mr. Lipsky aboutâŚactually everything because he is fucking pond scum, and his primary job is not as a journalist, but as the publisher of the New York Sun, a conspiracy theory laden right wing hate mag.  He is connected to the wallstreet Journal.  And he is pretty much wrong about literally every subject.  I hate Julian Assange but that proposal is fucking ludicrous and is the exact reason why he has such a fandom despite being an awful person.
