Automating Chrome with AutoHotkey: Setting InnerText, OuterHTML & Values
Being able to automate Chrome with AutoHotkey has been a long-term goal of mine! In this video I (quickly) walk through a function I wrote to leverage GeekDude’s Chrome.ahk class. You can get the class here or read more about it on the AutoHotkey forum.
There’s lots more to do but I wanted to share this to help others get started using the above Class. 🙂

I hate pornbots but this made me laugh
I have nothing to say and I'm saying it.
NS:“Are you always thinking about how to create a timeless object?”
GR:”It’s not that I'm always thinking about how to make something timeless, it’s more of a desire to maintain a certain artistic quality that moves us, that goes beyond what we are, and that is, in that sense, timeless.”
I'm drawn to Gerhard Richter’s response to Nicola Serota’s question, regarding the quality of the work that an artist aims to produce. The desire to produce something original is beautiful in it’s own sense but there is a necessity for me to create something with a greater contextual depth and once I get there, the reward will be more personal and dignified than if I were to create something aesthetically pleasing. The reason I'm an artist is to find the perfect balance to have a strong element of beauty; not necessarily in a linear sense, something that is inspirational and thought provoking but also engaging and has a unfamiliar element to it.
Set Text - Participation Observation
Participation Observation → central and defining method of research in cultural anthropology. • Spradley (1980) used the term to refer to the general approach of fieldwork in ethnographic research • Agar (1996) used the term for all the observation and formal and informal interviewing in which anthropologists engage.
→ The method of participation observation includes the explicit use in behavior analysis and recording of the information gained from participation and observing. → Participation Observation is a way to collect data in a relatively unstructured manner in naturalistic setting by ethnographers who observe and / or take part in the common and uncommon activities of the people being studied. → the practice of participant observation provides two main advantages o research. First it enhances the quality of the data obtained during fieldwork, second it enhances the quality of the interpretation of data. Participant observation is thus both a data collection and an analytic tool. → Field notes are the primary method of capturing data from participant observation. (...) by writing field notes is virtually the only way for researcher to record the observation of day-to-day events and behavior, overheard conversations, and casual interviews that are the primary material of participant observation.
