I'm curious--how do you guys go about creating your OCs?

He shakes his head. “I’m sorry, I don’t. I’ve never been really, what’s the word, informed on other beings. I only know humans and those in fairy tales.”

“I guess you can say my kind is sort of a fairy tale.” She nodded, “We serve the gods from all the realms.” Kalypso smiled a little.

“Gods?” He’d only briefly took interest in those, but he still didn’t know much about them, despite his studies. “Which ones? You mean like the Greek ones?”

“Those, and all the other ones. Norse, Roman, Greek, any religion with Gods we Guardians serve and gain power from.” She nodded, placing her hands behind her back. “My given God is the Norse God Loki.” Kalypso smiled slightly.

“Oh, I know who that is!” He grins. “That’s really cool, even though I don’t know all that it entails.. Still, very cool.”

“Well, most Guardians are assigned to watch their god, but I was sent here to the human realms to keep an eye on them.” She nodded, holding out her hand as flames flickered over her fingers. “I share some abilities with Loki, fire manipulation, I can go invisible briefly, and I’m the best at illusions.” Kalypso hummed.

“That sounds really cool.” He smiles, a little in awe as he watches her. “Could I see you do something with illusions? Is it like a magic trick magicians do?”

Blinking, he slowly reaches forward to touch it. “Thats… Incredible. Wow.” He looks up and grins. “Can you only do small things?”

He stumbled back, eyes a little wide. “W-Woah. How- Even someone’s voice?” He stepped closer, tempted to touch out and feel if she was real, but he felt like that’d be too much for her, so he didn’t.

“Mhm! It took me a while to get good at this specific thing. But I’m pretty perfect at it now!” Kalypso laughed in his voice, holding out her hand to him as if she could tell what he was thinking.

He reached out gently and lightly ran his fingers over her palm. Despite appearances, it still felt like her hand, yet looked like his scarred one. “That’s incredible... Really amazing.” He steps back, put his hands behind his back, and continues to smile.

She moved her hand away slowly, stumbling backwards a little and hitting the wall with a wince. “I don’t even remember what happened…it’s so weird…” She whispered.

“Careful, I don’t want you knocking yourself out.” He moved to her side again and very gently put his hand over her stomach, a light blue glow starting to emanate from his palm. “However it happened doesn’t matter. You’ll be okay, I promise.” 

Kalypso noticed the blue glow and narrowed her eyes a little. “Are you…you a Guardian too..?” She asked in confusion, having never expected to run into another like her.

“In a way, you could say that.” He chuckles. “That’s not what I am though. No, I have no name besides the one my mother gave me. I have no title. I am just- me. That’s all.” He slowly pulled his hand back after a minute and looked up at her, smiling widely. “Turn around, let me see if there’s anymore wounds.”

“I’ve never seen a human with abilities before..” She said softly, turning her back to him, revealing no other wounds besides some light scratches over the backs of her arms.

“I don’t think I’m human if I’m able to heal you.” He laughs again, gently running his hands down her arms to heal the small cuts. “Is that all? I don’t want you bleeding out on me.”

She nodded, “That’s all.” Kalypso said softly, turning to him and narrowing her eyes a little. “Well, if you aren’t technically a human….and you don’t look like a Guardian…what are you..?” She mumbled.

“I don’t know. Like I said, I only know what my mother told me.” He stands up and holds a hand out for her. “Do you need help getting home?”

She looked at his hands, then back at his face again. “I don’t…think so. But it would probably be a good idea for you to accompany me anyway. Just in case something odd happens again.” Kalypso nodded.

“It would be an honor.” He continues to smile as he helps her up. “Where do you live?”

“Uh..” She looked around them, eyes taking in identifying features of the buildings. “Not far from here, thankfully. I was actually on my way home when that happened.” Kalypso said.

“Alright. Lead the way and I’ll follow.” He let go of her and held his hands behind his back and took a step back so she could have her space. 

“That sounds both good and bad- Let me see, I may be able to help.” Reo knelt down in front of her, slowly reaching forward, waiting for her to allow him to look.
