I have been told before that I shouldn't charge too much for my posters, being that I’m an amateur. So I've done some thinking over the past couple of weeks, and this morning I've come to a final decision.
I make a lot of stuff. I make a lot of gift art. I’m still fully happy to do so, given I’m the one offering to make it. I like surprising people with posters of their muses, and even practicing scene building and different shots. It gives me practice, and the bonus is making someone else happy.
But moving forward, any requests are going to require payment up front. I never had a set price before, but I have one now, so I’m going to bullet point this list for easier reading.
2+ models and group shots will be $20
Posters requiring scene building will be $20
Single model posters will be $10.
Scenery with no models will be $10.
My prices are a fixed rate, so this will be easier for all parties to move forward. I don’t want to be hassled about my prices, either. I don’t want to be compared to other SFM artists who sell their work for cheaper. If you want their prices, go to them, not me. I work hard on my posters, I’d like to make sure I’m well compensated.
I require the payment before I start on any commission/requests. My paypal is available for those who wants something. And again, this doesn’t apply to art I freely offer, or art trades. I will accept art trades in lieu of money, but I also want to see samples first before I accept said trade. I will also offer up samples of my own art for your benefit.
I also want to make it clear that these are stills I’m making. I am not a professional, I am an amateur. I am a self-taught SFM artist, and my knowledge is still very limited. I do not know how to animate, I don’t care to learn, so please don’t ask.
