WotC wants you to know The Hobbit debut panel is Saturday, but remember Friday is Announcement Day for the next three in-universe sets coming in 2027. That's what I've seen mentioned will be announced. I have no idea if the three Universes Beyond sets for 2027 will be touched upon.

Alrght then! The Set Debut Video for "March of the Machine" wasn't as long as other debut videos but there was a lot to talk about. A lot of art and a lot of cards were previewed. New mechanics look to be called 'Battle', the new card type being introduced in MOM, and a keyword ability call Backup, which allows creatures with certain abilities to share those with other creatures. A returning mechanic is Convoke. And yes, I'm going to skip explaining Battle so I don't inadvertently cause any confusion. Just watch out for the Battle Mechanic video from MTG themselves. Otherwise, the set looks to be pretty entertaining. Quintorius Kand will be in the set as a Legendary Creature, probably his last creature card if he has indeed become a Planeswalker. I'm excited to see characters like Marchesa and Ravi appear on cards in a premier set.
