Session 002
Session 002 took place on November 16, 2018.
In game we picked up around 8:30am on Saturday November 3rd, 2018 in Powhatan, VA. The group awoke in spite best efforts not to sleep and you all shared the same dream--Tyrileon in a wide field of yellow grass with white trees and blue leaves. She waves to you.
Youâve got stuff to do for the retreat and so Katherine ushers you all to the bathrooms to get ready. Kioshi overhears a little bit of a conversation, able to pick out words like Yeerk pool and Kandrona Ray. He tells Kilohana (who responds super up- beat) and they vacate the bathroom, stopping Everett from entering. Once back in the cabin Kioshi shares the information he learned, as well as learning that one of the people he overheard is Gilâs brother, Tom (however the other person called Tom Esplin 993).
Katherine divulges that many of the Chaperones were part of this group called The Sharing, and Gil confirms that her brother is in the group too. They come up with a plan to see what the Yeerks know by telling Tom that Gil lost her backpack and was upset, Katherine will try and gauge what Tom thinks. Everett presses Katherine about why she was out meeting Tyrel to which she lies.
The group (minus Tyrel) head out to the 9am assembly. Principal Kendrick speaks first and outlines the dayâs activities. He thanks The Sharing for all their work, and talks them up. He then touches briefly on the âcommotionâ last night. He says some kids were setting off fireworks and that anyone who knows anything needs to report it because there was a chemical spill and those exposed could be in danger. He then passes things off onto Ms.Burns from The Sharing. Ms.Burns is a too-happy camp leader.
While the group attend the assembly Tyrel acquires and then morphs a wolf spider. He climbs himself up to the top of the cabin to get a look around. Realizing he couldnât see very far he zip-lined down to the ground thanks to his new webbing abilities. Attempting to cross the vast expanse of the campground he is nearly trampled by a small group of four voices. He cannot identify any of them but clearly hears their voices.
They discuss a plan of some kind by Esplin 993. They mention expecting an influx about two hours after breakfast. They say theyâll be explaining it all away by stating food poisoning. They do remark that things are going well but that remains to be seen according to Iniss.
The rest of the group finish up at the assembly and hang back before heading towards a large breakfast buffet. Some of them are cautious about eating anything and Everett notices that all the provided beverages are in clear plastic bottles... with no labels. They donât appear to be tampered with but theyâre just unlabled, unbranded bottles. He advises the group to leave them and they heed his warning but take food instead.
Katherin and Kioshi head over to grab some coffee. Unfortunately while doing so Katherineâs concentration is broken by Tyrel shouting in thought speak to her. She immediately spills coffee on her hand burns it. Ms.Burns (ironically) immediately approaches and offers first aid but Katherin scathingly tells her no.
As she and Kioshi join everyone else at the table, Tyrel starts yelling in though speak ~Nobody eat or drink anything!~ over and over again. Katherine passes on this information, however Gil and Kilo have already eaten. The group sit and wait for the arrival of Ms.Burns and two chaperones with supplies to help Katherinâs hand. Katherine is once more scathing and eventually shoos away the aid, saying they will retreat to their cabin so she can look at the injury herself.
Tyrel, having dodged the group of four people, heads towards where he thinks the assembly was. On his way out he runs into another group and can hear his companions talking. He hones in on what he thinks is Katherine an craws up onto an ankle. When the group is safely in their cabin everyone searches for spider!Tyrel, only to find him on Kilohanaâs ankle. Unable to help himself, Kilo reactively smacks Tyrel away and stuns him.
As Tyrel de-morphs the group converses about what has transpired and what their next course of action is. They quickly decide that the medical tent is a clear area of interest and perhaps scouting it out is the best plan of action. (The tent was mentioned by the group of four Tyrel overheard, and Ms.Burns repeatedly attempted to get Katherine to visit the tent for her hand.) Some of the group acquire a spider while Kilohana leaves the cabin to look for something else to acquire.
Katherine attempts once more to call the camp cat to the cabin. Kilohana climbs into a tree but stops upon seeing a patrol coming by and climbs back down. He spots the cat approaching and takes the tuna to the cat, acquiring the creature in the process. Gil decides to try the cat as well and climbs out the window to join Kilo. She acquires the cat but upon morphing loses control and almost starts a cat fight with the camp cat, an intact tom cat.
Inside the cabin Everett morphs a spider. Kioshi decides instead to morph an owl and does so almost effortlessly. Katherine carefully picks him up and deposits him out the window. Kioshi then does a fly-over of the campsite, honing in on the medical tent. Just as heâs about to report back that he canât see anything odd from outside, he spies four barrels marked as biohazard inside the tent...
The Trial of Blood, Part II
Our heroes were trapped in a dungeon, deep underground, prisoners of a mad Game Master spectating their every move. Â Worse, each had lost the last yearâs worth of memories. Â They could remember nothing of each other or their shared quest, let alone how they came to be here. Â They knew only that they had to escape.
They were soon joined by a fourth hero, a Tabaxi rogue calling herself Veil. Â Unlike the others, Veil was not a prisoner of the Game Master. Â She had fallen down an ancient shaft while investigating the ruins of a temple in the woods up above. Â Unfortunately for Veil and our other heroes, they could not use her shortcut to return to the surface. Â The four of them would have to work together in order to survive the Trial of Blood.
Veil joined our heroes and helped them defeat the guardian of the next chamber, an animated suit of armor. Â Next, they had to contend with an antechamber whose entire floor was a maze of pressure plates linked to poison dart launchers. Â Calm, the barbarian, fearlessly forged ahead, revealing a safe path to the far door at the cost of his own health.
Beyond, our heroes discovered a shrine populated with demented worshippers of a Beholder idol that attacked as soon as our heroes revealed themselves. Â The Lizardfolk cleric Kosjmyrni evened the odds with her skillful healing magic and slightly-less-skillful arcane spells, one of which quite literally blew up in her face. Â The Beholder cultists were vicious foes, but our heroes emerged victorious once again, this time with some priceless loot to show for it.
The next chamber was a hallway tiled with Dwarven runes in a seemingly random pattern. Â Above the far door was carved:Â âWalk in the path of the goddess of pain.â Â The elven monk, Lia, was the only one who knew Dwarvish, and was soon able to puzzle out the riddle: by spelling out the name of the evil goddess Loviatar using the runes on the floor tiles, our heroes could safely pass.
They are now nearing the end of the Trial of Blood, but the traps and enemies are increasing in danger with every step they take. Â What horrors await them in the final chamber? Â We will soon find out...
Session 002 - 03:
Bifrons glares at Udrin. Alice: ...Is... the book... it's... talking... Bifrons: Ah yes... that. Grimoire Greshat: we all do, Lady Alice: ...What. Braith: Yeah, Alice, some weird shit went down in that tower. Misia: Two of them are more useful than one, sadly. Bifrons: It's... complicated. Braith: There was a huge shade, and then these three showed up and we got em to help us Ravenuk: now there's an understatement, Misia Grimoire Vert is laying on the ground, wallowing in misery in failure Alice: ...I... guess I'll ask more in a bit... Could you bring her inside so we can... you know.. get her a doctor? Bifrons: Of course. Her safety is my number one concern. Grimoire Greshat: Vert, get your page ridden ass out of the grass! or are you gonna let one fuck up get you so down? Grimoire Udrin: Goodness, woman. You're stronger than that. Grimoire Vert: -a muffled "I'm a book" is heard- Ravenuk: are the books yelling at each other, like siblings? or is it just me? Grimoire Udrin: You sound like a woman, and thus I shall refer to you as such. I happen to be a very manly book. Eurydice (GM): (Also I imagine Udrin to sound like Tim Curry) Teri G.: [oh god, I'm so sorry. I couldn't help it. XD] Bifrons: [So... many... good... quotes...] Teri G.: [And Tim Curry Urdin makes me so happy.] Misia: [We may as well post the entire chat to tumblr.] Braith: [pffffffft] Ravenuk: [why not?] Braith: [OH GOD] Eurydice (GM): (For Greshat, Dave Fennoy. -He does Rodin in Bayonetta.-) Misia: [It'd definitely help log everything] Braith: [and Ury, it's Urdin, not Udrin.] Eurydice (GM): (I mmay be dyslexic. Like, in all actuality.) Braith: [oh, my apologies. ] Eurydice (GM): (...Or just a shit typist.)_ Ravenuk: fuuuuuuuuuuuuuun Eurydice (GM): (I'm not sure which.) Braith: [Didn't mean to make you feel bad. X| ] Eurydice (GM): (It's cool.) Alice: [Alice is quick to usher her unconcious niece inside, and the two disappear into the hut soon enough.- *] [Feel free to take the next few minutes to discuss things] David B.: should I be worried that my itunes is now playing "putting on the Ritz? Braith: Well, ladies and gents, this was certainly a very odd afternoon. O_O Bifrons unsubtlely checks out Alice's ass as she heads in. Braith: [I KNEW IT! ] Ravenuk: yup, you love her, Bifrons. admit it! Braith: [Tumblr has never taught me wrong about anticipating possible ships!] Alice: [Alice rolls a natural 20 on her 'having a nice ass' check] Braith: [Nah bruh, she just has Attractive 2. +5 on checks towards people who think she gorgoues] *gorgeous* Ravenuk: [like Bifrons] Braith: [Which Braith also has. XD] Bifrons: Ravenuk, tell anyone and you wind up on the business end of my chainsaw. Braith: Pfft, he doesn't need to tell anyone. It's clear as day. Ravenuk: uh-huh. is that before or after I make a pin cushion out of you? Bifrons: You couldn't hit me if I was ten feet tall. We got proof of that earlier. Grimoire Greshat notches an arrow and draws it, aiming at Bifrons Grimoire Greshat: how much you wanna bet? Bifrons: [wrong face] Braith: How is the book holding a bow and arrow. (had to. XD) Ravenuk: [you know what I meant] Bifrons: You sure you wanna do this twig? Braith: Now, come on guys. No need to kill each other over your mutual love of alice. ;) (winky face doesn't register well here) Ravenuk: [Bifrons, what's your dodge?] Braith: [we are NOT descending into PVP this quickly, are we? ] Bifrons: [1, but Ravenuk doesn't know that.] Misia: ... I'm going to go get Dolo as well as my supplies. Ianthe's going to need more than some bedrest. -Misia flees the scene before she gets hit by a stray arrow and/or chainsaw- Ravenuk: [just curious] Bifrons: [and I hope we don't ACTUALLY come to blows.] Braith: (rolling diplomacy NOW) (also, are both of you attracted to women?) Bifrons: [I know Bifrons is.] Ravenuk: [yes, well. Ravenuk's attracted to anyone who looks good to him] Braith: [okay bitchin bonuses] rolling 1d20 + 10 ( 7 )+10 = 17 Guys, really, there's no need to kill each other over something as stupid as a crush. We won't say anything either, alright? Braith looks between the two with an exasperated expression Bifrons grumbles slightly, but stands down. Ravenuk: threaten me once more, and I WILL make a pin cushion of you, understand me, Bifrons? Bifrons: You can try. Ravenuk puts the arrow away, but looks VERY pissed off Braith: *sighs* Bifrons, I understand it gets a point across, but throwing your weight around like that isn't too redeeming on your part. Dolo: Is you know who threatening people not to mention you know what? Ravenuk: yes Bifrons mutters something about blacksmithing before walking off. Ravenuk walks off to his hut, trying to forget the whole debaccle Braith: *calms down a little after all the fighting is done with and turns to Ravenuk* Was it really nessecary to antagonize him like that? (or... not) Grimoire Udrin: A charming lot. Misia returns with varying amounts of bandages, rags, plants, and liquidy things in bottles that may or may not be safe Braith: Oh, hey Misia. Want any help with the medical stuff? And you hush, book. People are just on edge. We did almost die today... Misia: Oh, that'd be a great help! Here, take whatever you can get to without trouble. Dolo SHOULD be coming shortly. Dolo: [Grumble grumble false leg grumble] Braith: Oh, it's no problem. Hell, if we have a chicken or something, I suppose Urdin could help too. I dunno if we should turn to that though... Then again, mentioning all the you know whats that happened might not be a good idea ei- Oh Hai, Dolo! Dolo: [Brief wave] Grimoire Udrin: What sort of name is that? Braith: You're not one to talk, book. What's your name again? Dolo: ...Note to self, stop sampling products... Braith: [giggle snort] Grimoire Udrin: I am the Grimoire Urdin! Dolo: ...Right, the book won't stop talking... She's inside, right? Braith: oohr-deen? Yeah, you ain't no prize either. Grimoire Vert: -muffle muffle "grimoire vert" muffle- Braith: (literally how his name is pronounced) Dolo: I'm just going to go inside anyway. Ravenuk sits down inside the hut and meditates Grimoire Udrin: I should have known... You save someones life and this is how they repay you... Such is life... Braith: [right, to the shack. ^^;] Eurydice (GM): Assume that a full day passes before anything else occurs. In that time, what does everyone do? Ravenuk: [meditates, otherwise polishes the bow and repairs/makes new arrows] Bifrons: [Bifrons talks a bit with the local blacksmith about any interesting weapons, sketches a few plans for new things.] Braith: (you go first, Misia. :) ) Misia: [Misia works with Dolo to patch Ianthe up. Vert mopes some more, before deciding to try and be useful again.] Braith: [Help out Dolo and Misia whatever ways I can. Following that, go to the fields with the sheep and practice with Urdin. I was pleasantly surprised to find out he had ice powers, but not in the same small package as the fire. We'll have to work on that] [aka, whenever we get points from the sessions. :) ] Eurydice (GM): (Well, since it's getting pretty lateish now, and this is where there'd be a pause and me awarding points...) Ravenuk: [....] Bifrons: [stuff is being looked up, please hold.] Ravenuk: [roger] Eurydice (GM): Alright, 2 points for everyone, with the extra being for putting up with one adventure over two weeks and other shit. Bifrons: Sounds good to me. Braith: (extra? What extra?) Eurydice (GM): (For this portion of the adventure being split over two weeks) Bifrons: normally 1 per adventure. David B. is equally confused Braith: (oh wow, really? Our DM usually gives more than that, but whatevs.) (if that's what the book says. *shrug*) Bifrons: I'll probably plot with eury on how I'll spend my points later. Braith: (Then again, I think he gave us 3 that one time on account of a really hard boss.) Bifrons: Yeah, reggie was pretty much a medium/ mid-boss, so two is a good number. Braith: Dah. Making my alternate effects dynamic. Which means that I can shrink AND have ice at the same time. Costs more points. Scottsman L.: Well, I'll see you guys later. I'll be on skype if anyone needs me. Braith: (oh, are we stopping for the night?) Elise T.: Seems so Eurydice (GM): (I don't want a repeat of last week where we had to pause mid-combat D:) Braith: Oh, okay. :) You know what I did with my points, Eury. Eurydice (GM): Okay If anyone wants to ask me things or anything like that, I'll be on skype for the rest of...well, the night. Until I pass out at like 3am or so so no pressure Braith: night~!
Session 002 - 02:
Braith runs to the gal's side, trying to start looking her over. Gonna use my feat to initiate an Expertise: Doctor Ravenuk: if you wanna heal her, take that green thing too Misia vaguely wonders if she still has any spare supplies back home to get blood out of clothing as she goes to help Braith Braith: You're a doc, right Misia? rolling 1d20 + 5 ( 6 )+5 = 11 Misia: Hmm. I've got some training, yeah. Braith: I'm not too sure what's up... Ianthe: -You can see bruises and scratches, and even an odd bump in her leg that's possibly something broken- Grimoire Greshat: green pages, you're needed! Grimoire Vert: Yeah, yeah. So, about the healing thing... Bifrons: Oh goody, conditions. Grimoire Vert: Yeah. About that. I can heal alright! Anything and everything (maybe). I'm your book! Ravenuk glares at his book Ravenuk: you better not have any conditions! Grimoire Vert: But we need to have some plants around. For their life force. Grimoire Udrin: Or blood, if any's about. Ianthe: (I have decided on voices for each of the books. c: Nothing game changing, just a fun thing I went ahead and did.) Bifrons: Here. Bifrons hands over his chainsaw. Bifrons: Plenty of blood on that. Grimoire Udrin: (will that do, Eury?) (power says about a pint per healing) Eurydice (GM): Hmm... how bloody is that damn thing? Bifrons: [I drove it into reggie's face. Braith: Alternatively, if any of us is strong enough, we could carry Ianthe out? Bifrons: Actually, new idea, let's just use tall dark and ugly himself. Braith: [Is tall dark and ugly even around?] [I thought shades did the disappearing act after death?] Bookeeper Reginald: Blargle Ravenuk: [his corpse is near] Eurydice (GM): Hmm, he probably should disappear, though.. Bifrons: [good point] What about the dog? I'm sure it has plenty of blood? Braith: Don't you dare. Bifrons: Just brainstorming. Braith: Again, there is a field outside. Ravenuk: besides, I've heard dog makes good cooking Grimoire Vert: How crude... Braith: Stop talking about hurting Rufus, or I'll sick Urdin on you! D: Bifrons: Fine fine. Braith, hold this. Bifrons hands him the chainsaw. Bifrons: *her Braith: (how much does that thing weigh?) Bifrons: I can carry the girl. [It weighs exactly one chainsaw.] Braith: [...Well, I have strength 0. I'm seeing if Braith could carry that or not.] Eurydice (GM): Roll a strength check to see if you double over from the weight. Braith: (Hmn, it says strength zero can carry 24 kg?) Eurydice (GM): Then how much does a chainsaw weigh... Elise T.: [24kg is 53lbs] David B.: [it depends on the chainsaw, I've held some that were HEAVY] Elise T.: [The first chainsaw to come up on the website for Lowes is 10.8lbs] Bifrons: [Yeah, you can handle it.] Braith: [Okay then, so 0 isn't too bad on the strength scale. ^^;] OOf! Geez, this thing is kinda heavy for equipment. Bifrons: Kills damn well. Ravenuk: now you see why I prefer my bow Braith: Or my knives. Speaking off. Rufus, Fetch the Knives please? Bifrons: Right, up you go little missy. Rufus: *bark* *fetch* Bifrons hauls Ianthe onto his shoulders. Braith: *back to full capacity of knives! (4)* Bifrons: Right, let's get to the field before my back gives out. Braith: Agreed. Now bookie, blast anything if we see something, Kay? :) Grimoire Udrin: I am NOT some... ughhh... Braith: Thank you~! Bifrons: Hey Urdin, taking any bets? Grimoire Udrin: Do I look like I have any money or possessions TO bet?! Misia: Pages? Grimoire Vert: Just let it go... Bifrons: Well, you are a booky. Grimoire Udrin: . . . Grimoire Vert: . . . Grimoire Greshat: ...HA! Bifrons laughs. Braith: Okay, I know I tease the book, but that's pretty bad. XD Grimoire Greshat: he can stand it, he's been getting it from the rest of us for some time Bifrons lays Ianthe in the grass. Bifrons: Alright, work your magic. Grimoire Vert: Alright, alright. Lets see... plently of plant life around, good! Now, watch and be awed by my power! Grimoire Vert tries to be useful Bifrons: [pffft] Grimoire Vert: rolling 1d20 + 1 ( 5 )+1 = 6 Eurydice (GM): (I'm not entirely sure what you should roll here @-@) Bifrons: [pfffffft] Eurydice (GM): (Aaaaand ouch.) Grimoire Vert: [healing power, rank 1. I'm not sure either tbh] Braith: [I think you roll a healing check, unless you have the stabilize power attached to her healing. then it auto heals.] Bifrons: [One moment] Braith: [TOO THE BOOKS~!] Bifrons: [1d20 + ranks in healing] [DC ten, one condition for degrees of success.] Grimoire Vert: [Welp] Braith: . If the Healing check fails, you must wait one minute or use extra effort in order to try again We can just handwave it because of time? Bifrons: [Yeah, we can say the took ten] Braith: [and that.] [We're not threatened.] Bifrons: [Hell, we can say they took 20, we aren't in any rush.] Eurydice (GM): Pretty much She's not like, bleeding out or anything Bifrons: [one patch of dead grass later...] Grimoire Vert: W-wait, let me try again! I fumbled is all! We've been sitting on that shelf for a really long time, I'll have you know! Grimoire Vert attempts to redeem itself Grimoire Vert: rolling 1d20 + 1 ( 9 )+1 = 10 Grimoire Udrin: I still think that blood would have worked. A life for a life, after all.. Why you are so reluctant with your dog, I've no idea. Braith: *swipes at the book with a hand* Don't talk about Rufus like that! D: And Look, greenie did nothing to anyone to help out Ianthe! Grimoire Greshat: it's just a dog, what's the deal? Braith: He's my best buddy! >:( Rufus: *hearts* Braith: [So is Ianthe awake yet?] Eurydice (GM): Nope. She doesn't stir. She was in a tower with a broken leg for three days without food or water. Braith: [But I thought we took 20 on the healing?] [Oh right. that] Eurydice (GM): (Speaking of which, I think 3 days is the limit on how long you can go without water...) (...bETTER HAUL ASS) Bifrons: Great, more carrying. Let's move, assholes, I don't like hauling corpses. Grimoire Greshat: if y'all don't save her, at least y'all got something to eat Ravenuk looks at the book Bifrons: Dude, gross. Braith: that's...horrifying. Misia: ... Sheep: -dude what the fuck- Grimoire Greshat: WHAT?!?!? Misia: Well, lets get going. I don't have anything that could possibly help her on me. It'd be better to get her back to the village at any rate. Bifrons: [oh god can't stop laughing] Braith: Good idea, Misia. Let's stop lollygagging then. Grimoire Vert droops in shame from failure Eurydice (GM): (I personally like to imagine Vert being voiced by Maggie Smith c:) Bifrons straightens his posture the moment Alice comes into view. Braith: (that name sounds really familiar) Misia: [Pretty fitting actually] Grimoire Greshat walks closer to Bifrons David B.: [sorry, that was meant for the character, not the book] Ravenuk: what, you have a thing for Alice, or what, Bifrons? Alice: [Upon seeing Ianthe's unconcious form among the group, Alice rushes forward, nearly tripping over herself] Oh my god! What happened?! Bifrons: She was attacked by a shade. It was a hard battle, but I managed to slay it with the help of the rest of the group. Grimoire Udrin: You mean I blew it to kingdom come!

Session 002 - 01:
Grimoire Greshat starts singing Sloop John B Scottsman L.: I think it's safe to say that nobody here is entirely sane. David B.: sanity is over rated Eurydice (GM): Awareness is the enemy of sanity, for once you hear the screaming, it never stops. Scottsman L.: I'm 95% sure that's a quote. Eurydice (GM): It's literally the first line in The Asylum for Wayward Victorian Girls. Scottsman L.: Awesome. Here's hoping we don't get ground into a fine red paste. Eurydice (GM): Reginald's not one for grinding. He wants to keep you all in jars... Scottsman L.: Oh well in that case. Elise T.: Huh. I just used some fine red paste kept in a jay a day or two ago to cook with. *jar. Not jay. :p David B.: think I need to rerollinitiative *reroll initiative Eurydice (GM): I have what your initiative was, hold up There we go Scottsman L. strokes his beard menacingly. Eurydice (GM) didn't put up creepy music on purpose David B. holds up a razor and studies Scottsman's beard, grinning Scottsman L.: Oh, I have no reason to stroke my beard menacingly. It's just my default expression. David B.: Eurydice, I dunno what creepy music y'all got goin, but I'm blasting Harry Chapin Eurydice (GM): Aww, party pooper. David B.: :-P I could change to Apocalyptica, if you think that'd help any? Eurydice (GM): I'm not even sure I can fit this particular piece into the campaign proper I just like it a lot. David B.: what? brb Scottsman L.: This is a pretty good piece. Maybe for some temple overtaken by plants. Eurydice (GM): Thank you for breaking rule #1: Don't give the DM ideas~ Scottsman L.: No regrets. How much longer do you guys figure we should wait for Teri? David B.: no idea Elise T.: I was going to say until 8, but maybe 20 minutes is too long of a time? I don't have her number, unfortunately David B.: only person I have the number is the DM Eurydice (GM): Not anymore 'cause my phone broke. David B.: how so? Eurydice (GM): It just broke? David B.: oh Scottsman L.: Well, they're online it looks like. God I love this song. David B.: Teri's coming in Eurydice (GM): Cannot get enough of this soundtrack, for real. David B. plays Mettalica's Sanitarium Scottsman L.: We ready to roll(play)? David B.: yup Teri G.: Give me a couple minutes to get food/bathroom/etc. I literally just walked in my room and opened my computer. @_@ Again, I'm so sorry Ravenuk: no rush Eurydice (GM): I need to get something for my acid reflux as well Scottsman L.: I can use this time for coffee. Ravenuk: food might be a good idea Eurydice (GM): Yes, I declare this a pre-game snack run~ Scottsman L.: Mmmmh, coffee Teri G.: Ready at battle station Bookeeper Reginald: *Prepare yer books* Elise T.: Books prepared! Ravenuk notches an arrow Bifrons revs his chainsaw/ Ianthe bleeds a bit on the floor Ravenuk: you and that chainsaw Elise T. grabs her useless book Elise T.: derp Grimoire Vert: Excuse you bitch Ravenuk: lol Misia: Excuse you for having very specific conditions for use Bifrons: Mmmh, delicious sass. Braith: Book ready! I just hope it can do something aside from boasting... >.> Grimoire Udrin: We're RUSTY! Grimoire Greshat: You look pretty blueish to me. Grimoire Udrin: ....... Ravenuk: well, you are Braith: But a very pretty blue. :) Reminds me of tales of the oceans Bifrons: [Well, if we're all ready, I think it's Braith's turn.] Braith: (Okay then! ) (Or was it your turn, Misia?) Misia: [Rip everyone within 30 feet. At least make sure our gravestones look nice] Braith: [I already asked Eury bout that] Bookeeper Reginald: (-singing- Oh it's baaaaad luck to be you...) Braith: [I gave up Lightning to fix that.] Misia: [B comes before M!] [:O] Braith: Activating my Alternate Effect, Braith shouts: "Just hit that thing with something hard! AND DON'T HIT THE OTHERS!" In this case, a 5 foot square of fire now lights up Reginald. Roll a dodge check, Eury? Bookeeper Reginald: (I thought you needed to roll to see if you hit him first?) Braith: It's a Burst. You roll to dodge it. Bookeeper Reginald: (Alright then) rolling 1d20 + 8 ( 17 )+8 = 25 Braith: You still take half damage, which in this case, would be 2 fire I can copy pasta the stuff from the book? Bifrons: [Just roll toughness-1 (cause he has that wound) against 17. Bookeeper Reginald: rolling 1d20 + 1 ( 2 )+1 = 3 Braith: woooooo Bookeeper Reginald: (That's gonna sting like a bitch) The bookkeeper recoils, letting out a loud, metallic hiss. Bifrons: [Three degrees of failure, let me see what happens.] [Staggered and another wound.] [if he gets staggered again, he's down.] Ravenuk: [and the archer will aim for the base of his skull] [and pray like a motherfucker for a natural 20] Braith: Hold up, it's Misia's turn Misia: Misia grabs the green book that landed beside her, and shakes it, asking, "So, what do you do!? Burn things?! Freeze things!?" Grimoire Vert: "Heal things!" :D Ravenuk facepalms Misia Misia resists the urge to use the book as a weapon and stabs at Reginald instead Bifrons can't help but laugh. Braith: [But regi has two wouns] *wounds* [That's a minus 2 to his save] Bifrons: [toughness is normally two for him] Braith: [OH!] [Nevermind me. ^^:] [Gonna do anything else, Rav? If not, it's my turn then.] Ravenuk: [one sec] look book, think you could help out? Grimoire Greshat: and do what? Bookeeper Reginald: (You already did one attack, you can't do a second, I don't think) Bifrons: [his book has a movement power I think] Ravenuk: [until we figure that out, Braith, you're up] Braith: [Understood] [Hate to be a one trick pony, but until I get more power points, my effects aren't quite dynamic yet.] Braith looks happily suprised by what Urdin was able to do: "Do that again! It seemed to work! :D" Braith: [Roll a dodge again, Eury] Grimoire Udrin: rolling 1d20 + 8 ( 17 )+8 = 25 (Shit) Ravenuk: [nice] Bookeeper Reginald: (I can't keep track of whose face I'm on) Braith: [Mkay now toughness at a 17 please?] [and that happens to me too. Or will you rush to aid the unconscious niece first?- Bifrons drives his chainsaw into the things face. Braith: [Why not both? The stronger ones can kill of Reggie, and the rest can get the gal] Bookeeper Reginald: -Well that answers that question- Ravenuk shoots an arrow into the base of Reginald's skull
