sexy thought where tsubaki befriends a downtrodden human, and he admits he only turns "kind people" into his subclasses. over the course of the plot we see tsubaki spending more and more time with this one human who seems suffering because of the people around them and eventually they take their life, in hope of getting a fresh new start as tsubaki's subclass
except as it turns out the human who committed suicide wasn't a good person at all. they were lilac's bully and were suffering the consequences of their action, being abandoned by the people around them after lilac died. and tsubaki planted the idea that they might be able to escape all that to push them towards taking their own life as revenge for lilac

Lilac was a victim of Munchausen's syndrome by proxy, acted out against him by his mother, a nurse. For this reason, he dislikes hospitals and needed the encouragement of Kashi and Kaede to pilfer blood for himself. Otogiri makes him nervous, though she doesn't let it bother her.
Being similar ages, the "Elite" he feels closest to is Sakuya. This is further helped by their mutual fondness for Mahiru and Lilac's ready recognition of the Eve of Sloth's kindness. Hearing Sakuya talk about his school life also makes Lilac feel like he might want to attend school again, but he's not quite ready.
For obvious reasons, he's developed a dislike of classical piano
When he was human, his dream was to be a chocolatier.
If he's feeling particularly brave, he'll ask Belkia to show him some magic tricks. His own attempts at sleight of hand have gotten pretty good.
His favorite animal is the Kangaroo Mouse! He loves the way they hop around.

His first language is French, but he also speaks a fair bit of German as well thanks to where his hometown in Switzerland was situated
He's called Shamrock "Dad" before and promptly wanted to kill himself. Shamrock was just kind of uncomfortable, which didn't help matters
He has the unfortunate habit of sneaking up on people. He doesn't mean to! He's just very quiet. When they startle, he also screams. It's not good for his heart at all but he can't really help it.
