i was planning on doing a bulleted list with a sort of play-by-play of all the wonderful things that have been a part of my day, but i suddenly feel like breaking it down would diminish it somehow. like the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

i started writing highlights in this paragraph, but i don't even want to write that. my birthday is still going and i don't want to change the momentum with premature nostalgia.

i'm sitting in my living room with heather and jon with the sopranos on the tv. (heather and jon both love that show.) all three of us are sitting with our computers in our laps. all my friends who came over for dinner have gone home and jon has cleaned up all the dishes and put everything away. rufus had a wonderful night greeting all the guests and begging for bits of lasagna. he's totally crashed out on the couch next to heather.

I think I understand what you are saying. Maybe. If I do, I don’t see it in the same way. They are too interconnected. “Perviness” surely relates to titillation, right? Which leads to horniness?

In what way(s) do you see perviness and horniness as different?
