The highest of Angelic Choirs, the Seraphim are living beacons of the North Wind’s light responsible for bestowing his gifts for newborn souls and maintaining order across the Astral and Mortal Planes. They are also dubbed “the Fiery Ones” for how they use their sacred flames (also gifted by NW)for the creation of mortals and the destruction of evil and darkness across the universe (usually when the situation truly calls for it).

Jehoel (judge)

• Passionate about law and order in Heaven.

• Usually the quiet type when it comes to interactions with fellow seraphs, but can go full Scalia while presiding in court cases or union meetings.Many of his peers know better than to waste his time with “pointless banter” and just go straight to the point when doing sessions with this guy.

• Outside of work, he’s rather chill though. We can’t always think of work,y ou know.

• Strengthens mortals moral compass upon creation (though not all of them have the same capacity for morals upon life).

Achaiah (diplomat)

• The peacekeeper of the group.

• A bit more bubbly than your average seraph. Always wants to look on the bright side when everyone else is so serious.

• Usually one to help tidy up messes caused by dark magic with the power of song and light creatures. Kinda like Disney’s Snow White but with a cosmic power boost.

• Gives souls the capacity for emotion and expression.

Nethanel (scribe)

• The quintessential nerd of the group who believes the pen is mightier than the sword.

• Is married to his job, he often won’t leave his quarters for days until he writes down every minute detail of his subjects, from meetings, to anomalies to mere interactions between the different choirs.

• Looks on the more logical side of things but can sometimes take things too literally, as he was never around the mortal plane enough to get their sayings. If one were to tell him (in mortal disguise ofc!!!) it’s raining cats and dogs outside, he would be stuck in “study mode” all day trying to find some kind of anomaly or rift in the planes.

• Infuses souls with intellect and attention to certain details of the world.

Sera (chief)

• Chief of the Seraph Council and right hand woman to NW (after someone else…). She is a strong devotee to the North Wind’s cause, ensuring creation and balance in the Astral and Mortal planes are protected. Though she finds her master rather “loving to a fault” and prone to getting too lost in his work.

• She is very stern when it comes to her job, but can be rather gentle with how she handles her peers and underlings.

• She wouldn’t admit it aloud, but has a bit of an issue hiding her stresses behind a literal mask, whether it be from maintaining order with Heaven’s leaders, assisting with new projects, or keeping the cosmic balance in check. One of the reasons the Morningstars (Mike, Uri, and Lou) were created was to help spread their light to new souls.

• Provides light of being, given to her by the North Wind himself.

Machidel (warlord)

• Manages Heaven’s military as well as maintenance.

• Is one to raise his sword before using his words. Plans any possible moves to strike on certain demonic foes and takes extra precautions for beasts or spirits he and his peers haven’t yet seen.

• Has a bit of an ego when it comes to his tactics, priding himself in warding off evil spirits from long gone ages with a flick of a flail (he has a pretty big arsenal too). Would never get over it if an enemy gets the slightest best of him.

• Provides chosen mortals with exceptional bravery when they get created.

Vehulah (undertaker)

• Weaver of destinies faced by NW’s souls; mapping how they would live and die.

• Is in a constant depression about how such beautiful beings live for so little time. Yet she believes everyone has to go eventually, even the seraphs themselves.

• Enjoys flowers, especially lilies, as they represent purity and beauty mortal being lost in life and found in death

May have a bit of body image issues as she’s always got some big shroud on even during her downtime (which is not much).

Iehahel (archivist)

• Keeper (and sometimes conjurer) of Heaven’s most powerful and complicated magic and secrets. Many of which even the highest choirs are incapable of fully comprehending.

• A bookworm like Nethanel but a little more hands-on with her work. Have a bit of a sibling rivalry with one another over who’s the greater mind in the group.

• Has a fondness for mortal arts like dance, art, music, and crafting of languages (odd coming from an angel who holds every dead language imaginable)
