Considering the twists that come at the end of the main story, I think the twist in this mission here gets overlooked a bit, or at least not discussed.

He starts to describe one city, but quickly changes his mind, saying that "You'll see it soon enough." • Along with this he will give you the "Strange Souvenir" if you talk to him enough, Which depics the supposed legendary of that region according to the item's description, talk to him later on and he will say outright that it's not Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, or Unova. • After you complete the Looker missions, it is said that while your part is done, their story is just beginning. • A strange "Hex Maniac" at one point accosts you in a Lumiose City building and says that you "aren't the one".
