ooooh a dream place to visit for me is Paris, France. So much beauty and history and I feel I’d have lots of writing inspiration there :D Other than that, maybe Australia, I’ve heard so many beautiful things about it! Or just my family’s chalet, its so calm and quiet there :D
Blackberry: is your life an action film, a comedy, a romantic comedy, or drama?
I rarely go out of my house except to visit the bf and go to work, so…. not action. I haven’t had drama in my life since first year of uni, which was 2-3 years ago, so not that either! I’d say romantic comedy because I am very happy in love and I try my best to laugh as much as possible :)

FIBONACCI NUMBERS, MAN!!! And also Pascal’s triangle.
OKI the first, is one of my absolute favourite things in the world. The Fibonacci sequence starts with 1 (or 0 depending who you talk to), then another 1, then you add the two previous numbers to get the next number (1+1), so you get 2. I’ve got the first 17 memorised! They are 1 1 2 3 5 8 13 21 34 55 89 144 233 377 610 987 1597. These numbers come up everywhere in nature, from the spirals of seeds in a sunflower, to the angle between leaves on the stem of that flower. For more on that, I highly recommend ViHart’s 3 part video series on Fibonacci and nature: here’s part 1.
AND NOW PASCAL’S TRIANGLE!!! Equally fascinating!!! It also starts with a 1, and then the next row in the triangle, you add up the two numbers above it, so since below that 1, there is a 1 and a 0 on either side, the next row is 1 1. It’s a little harder to explain with words, so here’s an image:
AND WITH THIS TRIANGLE YOU CAN DO MANY THINGS!!!! But my favourite little thing (that I learned recently), is that when you add up the diagonals of this triangle, YOU GET FIBONACCI NUMBERS!!! ITS JUST SO FREAKING COOL!!! For more information on other cool things with Pascal’s triangle, I highly recommend Dong’s video about the Galton Board. Really awesome stuff.
