Drabbles: The Brightest Star In The Sky
San and Nari go stargazing
San excitedly set up the blankets and pillows on the rooftop. Â He had planned to take Nari to the observatory tonight, but they were tight on cash and had to get up early so he had compromised, seeing the stars on the comfort of their dorms roof. Â Nari came out a few moments later, snacks and drinks in her arms. Â âSan-ah! Â Whereâs your jacket?! Â Itâs chilly out here.â Â She chided and he just shook his, grabbing the stuff out of her hands.
âThereâs blankets, mom.â He said, pointing at the blankets he had just set up.  Nari rolled her eyes but didnât argue.  They sat back, staring up at the sky.  There wasnât too many stars to see as they were still in the city, but you could see one or two.  âThe sky is so pretty tonight.â  Nari joked and San frowned.  Nari was so excited to be able to see stars and the clouds just werenât giving in tonight.
San hummed, pulling out his phone and looking up a video of starry night sky on his phone and holding above them, wrapping his arm around her shoulders.  She giggled, staring at his phone and popping a candy into her mouth.  âWhatâs this?â  She said, nodding towards the phone and San smiled.  âThe stars, babo.â  She laughed, shoving a chocolate in his mouth and adjusting the pillows.  âYour arms gonna hurt.â  She said, grabbing the phone and leaning the phone against the pillows she had just arranged.
She snuggled back into his side, resting her head on his shoulders and feeding him chocolates every now and then as they watched his phone screen.  Nari couldnât help but snort in humor; San really was something else. She wanted to see stars and he found a way to make it happen.  She felt warmth in her chest and snuggled closer as he kissed the top of hers, smiling down at her fondly.  âShooting star!â  Nari said, pointing to the phone screen as the video had a shooting star shoot past it. âHurry, make a wish!â
She clamped her hands together and closed her eyes and San just chuckled as he watched her.  She peeked out from her eye.  âWhy are you not wishing?!â  She asked him, very confused and San just laughed, pulling her back to him and settling into the covers.
 âIâve already got my wish.â
