Fun story for my Tumblr followers:
When the Samsung Galaxy Zfold came out, everyone was incredibly concerned about the strength of the screen. I have a story about how powerful this phone is. My best friend was helping me to pack some things up for a home move out of state and while loading things in my trunk, I set my Zfold on the lip of the trunk, resting against the back window.
Not realizing i had set it there, my friend shut the trunk and we just hear SHATTERING as we stare at my entire back window finish breaking apart from where my phone went through it when it squeezed out from the lip of the trunk.
She was SO DEVESTATED over what happened, freaking out while I reached into the pile of glass. She assumed she had destroyed my car and phone in one go. Of course I didn't blame her at all because it was a TERRIBLE place to put my phone.
I pulled my phone from the shattered glass and turned it on - no damage. No crack, imprint, scratch, smudge, nothing. It rose from the ashes like an untethered phoenix and...
...became a meme i created to honor that day. I have shared it with her every day on June 18th since it happened 4 years ago 🤣🤣🤣🤣
