      The comment settles across his vision in bright bold letters, remaining in his field of vision for several long seconds as he comes to a swift stop, LED flicking over from the solid blue to a flashing one as he turns his gaze and attention over to the android at his side.  The scan over his companion was automatic, revealing information he’d known for a long while by now and settling it right underneath the question across his vision.

      Connor flashes a quick smile to Simon, reaching forward to adjust the other males sleeves first before moving on to take his hand, contently lacing their fingers.

He’s on patrol today, dressed in the tight Android Issued DPD uniform. The other officer assigned with him has wandered off, he assumes to either flirt or get something to eat. Allen payed little attention considering he had a task at hand. Since the revolution Androids walking the streets became more prominent but that didn’t stop the violence against them, because of this patrol had increased and frequently Allen was assigned and witness to the violent and just rather cruel nature humans treat Androids with. He’s actually walked a few Androids to work, which they greatly appreciate. 

Allen was making his third round around the block when he spotted someone cornered by a few angry civilians. He makes his way over, as calm as ever with his hands tucked behind his back. With natural ease he stepped in front of the androids, shoulders squared back head raised to look at the people. ❝Good evening, is there a problem?❞ They eyed him up and down, the cruiser parked on the side of the road and then one leaned back and spit in his face. Allen didn’t flinch, continued to stand where he was and with a few slurs directed and him and probably the android behind him they wandered off. 

            he’s told the blond can identify the body, as he seemed to be a shut in with few relatives. but so far, the blond has done nothing but pull at the sleeves of his jumper, and avoid looking at anything that might be considered a part of the trade. which, considering two of his four active examination tables have corpses on them (though covered, he’s more concerned with the privacy of the dead than the living) and the coldness of the room only seems to enhance the chemical sterile smell, the strangers eyes haven’t really left his own feet.

           this is where he should smile back. yes. isaac does so, if only because it’s considered the socially acceptable thing to do. there’s no reason for the two of them to be smiling at each other, he’s barely met this man outside of professional standings - even now, he’s only here because he needs a nurse to draw blood, and simon is a nurse he knows. a competent one, at least. perhaps thats why the dead bothered him so much, he took well enough care of those in his charge that they lived to ripe old ages.

          how miserable.
