Standing in straight-out doubt with his scrutiny directed on his frames that were hanging from a high branch of a large tree, Ruki held out against the impulse to scowl at the sight. He didn't think cats could be such nuisance. He had been merely investing his time with great satisfaction under the shade of this particular tree, reading a favorite novel of his when a slender white cat had jumped out of nowhere and snatched his reading glasses between its jaws before mounting up the tree with a tremendous rate of motion.

And now, Ruki was convinced that the feline had only done it to perturb him for as soon as it reached the highest branch, it left his frames there before hopping off; leaving his possession dangling in the air. It was beyond the guy's reach and unfortunately, he didn't know a thing about climbing trees.

Regrettably feeling hopeless, Ruki scanned his surroundings until his eyes laid upon a stranger just passing by.

Nako really needed a job. Her wallet was getting considerably lighter, so when she heard from a classmate that there was a pool at the community center, she decided to investigate. Mana tagged along since the boys were on a school trip and nobody was around at home. She didn't mind- taking care of her gave her a distraction from the other people around her.

Nako peered into the swimming area and gasped in awe- the pool was Olympic-sized, far bigger than anything she was used to back at Yunosagi. If it was nighttime, with nobody else around, she would probably love to swim despite her preference for the sea. Abruptly remembering what she was here for, she glanced around for the instructor she was told to seek out about a job.

Sure enough, a man who looked to be about a few years older than her was holding a session that was just about ending at one end of the pool. While she was observing them, however, Mana's tiny hand slipped from hers and the seven-year-old began running towards the pool, giggling in excitement about finally getting to swim again.

She dove in. Right into the middle of the instructor's session.
