Let’s ease our way into a deep dive of the new Prism of Colours Lipsense range with Mod Magenta. If you’ve been following me for a while now, you know that I’m into reds. Reds of any hue - blue reds, orange reds, pink reds - you name it, I’ll wear it. One of my great disappointments with Lipsense is how few reds are in the range. - Enter Mod Magenta - As soon as I saw this colour in the range I knew I had to have it. Could it be the deep pink red I’ve been waiting for? Would it be too close to Strawberry Shortcake? Will I spend the rest of my life searching for more and more red lipsticks? The answers to these questions are yes, no, and almost certainly. Mod Magenta is somehow both a red and a pink. It probably pulls slightly more pink on me, but if you scroll through the pics to the side by side comparison with Strawberry Shortcake by @perpetualpucker, you’ll see that it is much redder than Strawberry Shortcake. If anything, I think Mod Magenta is more wearable because of the red - I can see myself wearing it as an everyday colour - even to work, where as Strawberry Shortcake is more of a special occasion colour for me. Of all the new colours, I think Mod Magenta will be the top seller and I totally see why.
