Caine, as a comfort character, is an enigma. He gives me both joy and despair every time I think of him. Joy from his whimsiness and innocence, and despair from his tragic circumstance. On top of all that, he switches from being the cutest baby bean ever to becoming a gentleman like Glamrock Freddy.
I want to tuck him into bed and kiss him goodnight, but I also want to lie right next to him as we gaze into the stars.
If I reproduced with Victor the infants in question would end up more like moray eels than reptiles which is an important distinction for me. He comes home from the longest day in the office to find me hand feeding octopus to something that just learned to sit up on their own
