A.K.A. Self ship Headcanons with Empress
-Although both Empress and Twi work together a lot in the Nyakuza, the two don’t often get many days off together. There’s so much crime to be done after all. But when they do get some private time together, both do their best to make the most of it.
-Empress already doesn’t do much on her day’s off. With so much of her life dedicated to the clan she uses her free time to focus on smaller tasks. It’s only after Twi joined that he convinced her to take some time to herself.
-Whenever Twi takes the lead for days off, the two often take some time to walk around the Metro, taking in the glory of their work and just enjoying the sights. On certain days, they grab takeout from their favorite food stall, rent a movie, then cuddle together while watching an extremely cheesy action flick, exaggerated special effects and all.
-But while Twi’s version of taking some time off is strolling around the Metro and watching some movies, it turns out Empress has her own methods for treating herself:
-Usually Empress is busy managing her criminal empire, making sure everyone pays their dues and no trouble comes to their turf. She sees heists as self indulgent, wanting to steal something not for riches or glory, but purely because something catches her eye, such as a fancy necklace, ring, or even a stuck up snob’s monocle right under their nose. She loves the thrill of it all.
-One day after a particularly rough week, Twi went behind Empress’s back and researched different things that had caught her eye. Later that week, Twi surprised her with a special heist! One that only required the two of them to be pulled off, but still had a plan complex enough to have some effort put in.
-After seeing all the effort Twi had put into the heist, she couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
Empress: You truly cannot help but spoil me, can you?
-Later that night, the two traveled up to the surface to lay together under the stars. Drinks in hand, loot in a nearby bag and hands held tightly in the other’s.
