Max's Self-Moc: Renn, Destiny Defiant
Renn was captivated by The Scion's vision: a dark, quiet, gentle world free from the shackles of The Three Virtues. She joined The Scion in their mission, betraying her bretheren, forgoing The Mantle of Toa. In time, Renn developed a deep infatuation with The Scion, one which would later give way to a bond far greater.
On that fateful day, when the forces of The Scion and the Toa Akota faced each other for the final time, Renn, with the aid of The Sons of The Scion, had felled all but one of the toa.
Nadine, the Toa of Light, had reached the ritual chamber and gravely wounded The Scion. Nevertheless, Nadine was too late, and The Three Virtues were cast out of their realm. This awoken The Great Spirit, whose retreat to the stars would tear the land asunder.
As the world crumbled around them, Renn watched as Nadine struck down her beloved Scion, casting their body into the depths beneath the shattering island. Nadine, now on the brink of death, was helpless as the wrathful Renn brought her life to an end.
Since then, many centuries have passed, and the world lay a shattered shell of its former self. Whispers among the akotan tell of a lone toa who wanders the land endlessly in search of her long-lost beloved.
