Happy Monday everyone! Iām excited for the start of a new week. Today I wanted to talk about something we all know as ādoubt.ā How can such a small word hold so much power? . Whether it be self doubt, doubt from others, doubt about others, etc. It can put a serious wedge between us and our growth in all departments. . Of course itās so much easier said than done to just ānot doubt yourself.ā To truly begin to stop doubting yourself, I believe itās necessary to break yourself down and truly understand why you are the way you are, what situations do you begin to feel doubt in? Here are some great tips on overcoming self doubt: 1. Donāt let your mind wander into doubtful thoughts, when you feel yourself thinking this way, stop, and say something positiveā āI can do this, if I take it in baby steps.ā Rather than, āthis is too much for me to handle, I canāt do this.ā 2. Write down all the situations that you KNOW you begin to feel self doubt. This way, you can make a checklist and attack each situation differently. 3. Donāt feel like you have to do this alone! Talk out your thoughts with someone you feel comfortable confiding in. Sometimes a good cheer up from a friend is all we need to see that we have the potential to conquer this! 4. Spend some time everyday reading, watching, or listening to someone motivational speak about positive self talk & perspective. Donāt beat yourself up if you let the occasional negative though slip. Itās just a small setback and setbacks do not equal failure. I hope this week brings you all the utmost amount of joy!
