Kraken loves music, he finds it an interesting way to express emotion through non-verbal means with verbal annotations that could steer a narrative.

He's definitely more well-rounded in his taste of music which makes it hard to pinpoint (lol) but he tends to enjoy songs that use their lyrics effectively, as well as the speed and melody of the instruments. He highly prefers how lyrics can explain but not always so balantely.

He probably has a strong attachment to indie music more than anything since that kind tends to revolve around so many different topics.

That being said, a good song to note on his 'likes' would probably be:

♒: How does your F/O deal with heartbreak or rejection?

Kraken's a real complex case with how he handles 'emotion' in general.

Heartbreak and/or Rejection, rejection being most prominent in his lifecycle at times as it is for anyone. He takes it really hard. 'Rejection' can mean so many things, but it tends to really hurt when he is expressing interest in someone and deep down wants recuperation for that same engagement.

But that's not always so realistic, and he knows that. You will meet people all the time who don't agree with you, don't like you, or even if they're close- they will never be able to love you in the way you need.

It's a depressing fact to him sometimes, and when he finally feels brace to express himself, to be rejected tends to reinforce his fears of wanting connections with others. He's a cybertronian, much like a human or anything else, he needs social fulfillment.

He doesn't like that fact at times, he doesn't like emotions most of the time either. But he also knows he cannot repress what makes him himself. He's always been a mech who has strong emotions that tend to spill over and he needs to express them properly.

But, that's not always so easy. I digress, but Kraken would take rejection so hard.

He would pretend to be fine but just shuffle off on topic or in most cases, try to distance from the source of that distress. He needs to be alone and sit and be quite and just let his processor run the course of rationalizing his case to himself and then he will be fine.

He knows he will always be fine in the end when he takes a hit, but being rejected also will highly affect how he interacts with the person who caused him to feel that way. He knows it is not their fault, he just has a lot going on.
