I went to the kitchen and made 2 dozen Banana Chocolate muffins (4 of which were made first as gluten-free)

I went outside and strung icicle Christmas lights around our fenced patio.  The last string of lights is the wrong color - 3 strands are LED cold white and the last strand is LED warm white!  ARGH!!  I might have another strand of cold white in storage.  Tomorrow I’m going to venture out for eggs, bread, and bleach... so I may go to storage and take my giant suitcase full of winter clothse while I’m at it.

Then I dug a hole and planted a forsythia bush.  Sprig.  Whatever.

Then I sat on the sidewalk and dug holes with a trowel to plant tulips.

I took a shovel and dug out the rain-diverter at the bottom of the downspout (the handyman replaced the downspout 3 days ago but the diverter was slanting downhill toward the house), dug a trench to slant the water away from the building toward the sidewalk, and put the diverter back.  I’ll pick up a small bag of gravel to put from the end of the diverter to the sidewalk.

Since I was digging holes, I dug 3 pretty good sized holes around the front of the holly bush next to the downspout in front of the kitchen, dug up some rogue Hostas that are coming up in random places, and planted them like a border there in the nice shade that they’ll like.

Then I quit.  I’ve been sitting here for an hour doing absolutely nothing.  

But again, I love to express my feeling through a song, which sounds cliche, but it's true.

I learned basic piano in 2020. Then in 2022 I went on for a ukulele. I always wanted to learn guitar, but never got the grip of it. I found it to be very hard to play. Too many strings. The ukulele is a perfect solution, cause it has only 4 strings, thus makes it easier to learn.

Now that I'm addicted to it (still in the beginner level), I even record some of my singing since the day one, just so I can see my progress.

At the end of the day, we all want something relaxing to do. Find your passion. Tomorrow, let's go back to work freshly .
