I draw firmer circles around self.

They (other people) define, girder and explain me. 

So blessed tonight to be a-loan.

Training on trauma sensitive language.

What isn’t on the screen that the trainer said, “we do not determine the individual’s trauma or its effects on them. The individual defines their own trauma and tells us how it effects them!”

Self-define. This week I heard the most powerful thing I’ve heard in a long time. “We get to self-define, to set ourselves free from the power of the negative, mediocre, mundane stories we’ve been told.”

 See, I’ve always been told that “words are just words, they can’t hurt you”. However, the combination of living in a body, and my study of quantum physics, shows that they do. The power of the words that we use to tell our own stories and the stories of those around us penetrate us, activate energy centers, a part be part of our self-definition. 

 So what do we do? WHAT THE FUCK DO WE DO!? First believe in the power of telling a new story, That active, audible, affirmation. If you don’t think your words and voice have power over objects, go scream into an empty wine glass and feel the vibrations. That’s the wavelength of your voice vibrating in frequency with the glass,(not in complete frequency otherwise the wine would shatter, of course, but enough to get it going.).

Second, pay attention to the stories your tell about the people, places and things around you. Are they powerful stories? Yes, because whether you're telling a positive or observing and retelling the negative, shows up in our experiences.

 My intention for this full moon is to shed my old story, the story of my mistakes, My worth, My sobriety, My health, My relation to others.To realign myself with my power, and to heal those that I have hurt in my misalignment.
