🇬🇧I finished the second book of the #selction by #kieracass back in #february . I just didn’t have time to post about it. I liked #theelite this time it felt more like #thebachelor and I liked that. I went for a run outside yesterday, only 30 minutes, though. One thing I've learned about myself, if I have a goal and I don't work up to it, in other words, if I don't run in a progressive fashion I will quit. It won't even be a conscious thing.
For instance, if I decide I want to run a 5 minute mile, lets say I casually stroll a 10 minute mile, I might be able to just go outside and essentially sprint that 5 minute mile, but I will be so mentally fatigued that I will justify being a fat ass for months until one day I "wake up" and wonder what the hell I am doing.
With that being said, I ran 30 minutes, got into my groove, enjoyed a torrential downpour in the process then called it quits.
As for caffeine intake, yesterday was my lowest in months and I slept much better than I normally do. I was still a light sleeper, but I didn't wake up as exhausted today. I will continue the trend.
