It happened over time. It wasn’t a quick transition whatsoever.
Ezreal, at one point, had run into a creature from the stars; a creature he had stumbled upon after breaking from his group, as he does—Nearly getting lost in the process. And yet, since the first time he spoke to that creature—finding Thresh to not be so bad, Ezreal had kept going back—not to anyone’s knowledge, perhaps, albeit yet every time he had come a cm, there seemed to have been a slight change in the way Ezreal acted. The way he presented himself. Gradual, it was…
Until he disappeared completely for a little while.
Blues were now replaced with deep shades of purples; whites switched the deep blacks; even the blue in hair had become purple—even those bright blue eyes of his had changed to match his new palette. It was as if Ezreal had disappeared from the face of the planet for a while—only to show up in the middle of the night like….
“There she is!” He calls out to her; legs dangling off the edge of a building; elbows propped up on his knees as he leans forward slightly to look down at Lux below. Did she catch wind of his reappearance? Was she looking for him, perhaps? How sweet. He sits up straight, the building he sat on not too horribly high—one of the shorter ones in the city, at least—his head craning to the side as he straightens his posture a little bit, hand moving up and giving the motion of a slight wave with the flick of his wrist.
Something was off about him. So incredibly off.
“You should come up here! Y’know—kiss me if you missed me!”
