Typical Christmas Me! Wide awake at 3:51a!!! To my credit, I stayed in bed until 4:30a. Since; I’ve biked, ran, vacuumed and am getting ready to mop. Maybe I’ll make a coffee cake to keep myself busy until Jeff FINALLY GETS UP!!!! It is almost 6a!! <<sigh>> Seriously, I’m super blessed. If you know me, I’m like a kid this time of year. But it actually isn’t about my gifts, it’s about seeing others with their gifts, watching their excitement, hearing stories about the past year from my nieces and about my nephew. Hearing my aunt’s voice and teasing her. Talking to my cousin and trying to figure out what gifts she needs from me and how I can give them to her. Chatting with all of my aunts, uncles and cousins and realizing how sucky I am at keeping up and know I could and can do better. Getting to see my BIL & SIL yesterday afternoon in 13 degree temperatures and my FIL & MIL, bringing them Christmas dinner and watching them open gifts. I’m really, really blessed. I hope all of you have a moment to reflect on all of your amazing blessings. I know it’s hard. It’s everybody’s story.
